The blend contains between 0.1 and 1 parts by weight, in relation to 100 parts by weight of rubber used, of a polysulphide additive of formula (I), where x represents 0, 1, 2, 3 or 4, and A and B, independently of one another represent an optionally derivatised carboxyalkyl-, carboxyaryl- or hydroxyaryl group. Said blend has between 0.1 and 15 parts by weight, in relation to 100 parts by weight of rubber used, of 1.6-bis(N,N-dibenzylthiocarbamoyldithio)hexane (CAS No.: 151900-44-6).
