    A photosensitive resin printing plate precursor for relief printing, wherein the photosensitive resin printing plate precursor comprises a support, a photosensitive resin layer, and a cover film stacked in this order, wherein the photosensitive resin layer comprises a lower layer present on a support side and an upper layer present on a cover-film side, wherein the upper layer is a photosensitive resin layer that contains a water-soluble or water-dispersible resin (A) having a glass transition temperature measured by differential scanning calorimeter of 40 to 90°C, wherein the upper layer has a thickness of 3 to 30 micrometers, wherein the lower layer is a layer that contains a water-soluble or water-dispersible resin (B) having a glass transition temperature higher than the glass transition temperature of the water-soluble or water-dispersible resin (A) by 5°C or more, and wherein the glass transition temperature of the resin (B) measured by differential scanning calorimeter is 95 to 135°C.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for generative production of relief printing plates where a base with a polymeric substrate layer and a laser-ablatable mask layer is provided, the polymeric substrate layer comprising a first binder. A mask with apertures matching image elements is generated by imagewise laser ablation of the mask layer. Then a liquid comprising a reactive monomer is applied over the surface of the mask-covered polymeric substrate layer and the liquid or the reactive monomer diffuses through the mask apertures into the polymeric substrate layer for a defined exposure time so as to form a relief. Then the excess liquid or excess monomer and optionally the mask are removed from the surface and the resultant relief is fixed by crosslinking.

    摘要: A coating for use with a hydrophilic sheet substrate to form a lithographic printing plate precursor, including at least one Compound A silane compound and at least one Compound B phosphinic acid or organic derivative thereof. Compounds A and B experience a synergistic interaction which substantially increases adhesion to the substrate of areas imaged by radiation. The resulting plate is exhibits high on-press durability suitable for high volume commercial uses without a preheat step prior to development, even when imaged with lower levels of radiation such as violet lasers. A method of preparing a lithographic printing plate includes imagewise exposing the coating on a surface of a hydrophilic substrate to violet radiation and developing in an alkaline aqueous solution without preheating.
