Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply device which can be assembled in a fuel tank without pressing a coupling member for coupling a canister side to a pump module onto the bottom side of the fuel tank by minimizing an opening of a fuel tank for assembling the fuel supply device. SOLUTION: In a fuel supply device, a coupling member 60 is axially movably assembled in a side of a canister 24 and a side of a subtank 32. As a lid module 20 is inserted into a fuel tank 2, the coupling member 60 moves to the inside bottom 4a side of a fuel tank 2 together with a lid module 20 while being guided to a guide part 34 of the subtank 32. A locking part 70 of the coupling member 60 is locked in a side upper end of the subtank 32. When pressing the lid module 20 to an inside bottom 4a side of the fuel tank 2 against biasing force of a spring 80, the coupling part 60 does not move. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commutator having a short manufacturing time and a low cost and to provide a motor using the same and a fuel pump.
SOLUTION: An armature 50 has six bobbins 60 installed in a rotating direction, and a coil 62 is wound on each bobbin 60. The end of each coil 62 of the commutator 70 side is electrically connected to a terminal 64. The commutator 70 has six segments 72 installed in the rotating direction. The segments 72 are electrically connected to a terminal 75 through an intermediate terminal 74. In the terminal 75, the segments 72 installed at the radial opposite side are electrically connected to each other. The segments 72, the intermediate terminal 74 and the terminal 75 are supported by a resin material 76. The resin material 76 is a thermoplastic insulation resin. The segments 72 of the commutator 70 are electrically connected to the coil 62 of the armature 50 by engaging the terminal 75 of the commutator 70 in contact with the terminal 64 of the armature 50 and electrically connecting the terminal 75 of the commutator 70 to the terminal 64 of the armature 50.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel supply system settable in fuel tanks having various depths.
SOLUTION: One end of a metal pipe 18 is pressed into the press-in part 16 of a mounting member 11, and engagingly locked by the mounting member 11. An E-ring 19 is attached to the other end of the metal pipe 18. When the mounting member 11 is separated from a filter case 32, the E-ring 19 is engagingly locked by the locking part 43 of an insertion part 33. Since a coil spring 20 energizes the mounting member 11 and the filter case 32 in the mutually separating directions along the axial direction of the metal pipe 18, the bottom of a sub-tank 22 is regularly pressed onto the inside bottom surface of a fuel tank 1. A projection part 24 protruded from the inside bottom surface is formed on the bottom inside of the sub-tank 22. When the mounting member 11 gets close to the filter case 32, the other end of the metal pipe 18 is engagingly locked by the projection part 34 of the sub-tank 22.

SOLUTION: A commutator 50 is constituted of eight segments which are electrically insulated from each other by means of radial grooves 61, and each segment is constituted of a contact member 51 which brushes by a brush and a terminal member 53. A base metal of a contact members 51 before being divided by the grooves 61 has on the inner side an annular projection projecting toward a rotary shaft of the commutator. In an assembled state of the base metal of the contact members 53 and a base metal of the terminal members before filling in spaces between the contact members 51 and the terminal members 53 with connection material 57, the outer surface of the projection formed in the base metal of the contact members and the inner surface of the base metal of the terminal members surrounding the outer surface of the base metal of the contact members are in contact at several places, thereby allowing the contact members and the terminal members only to rotate. Since the base metal of the contact members and that of the terminal members can be assembled, without adjusting a space between the outer surface of the projection of the base metal of the cost members and the inner surface of the base metal of the terminal members, the number of manufacturing processes can be reduced.

The terminals 88 are projected in an axial direction from the cover 82 side toward an armature 50 side, and six terminals 88 are formed in the circumferential direction of the cover 82. The six terminals 88 are electrically connected by the cover 82. The cover structure 80 is assembled with the armature 50, and the ends of the coil 62 to the cover structure 80 side are electrically connected by engaging the terminals 88 with the terminal 66 of the armature 50.
