PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely start an engine when the engine is cranked by a motor according to the discharge of a battery. SOLUTION: The lower the temperature T of cooling medium for cooling the engine in the condition of the engine and the lower the remaining capacity SOC in the condition of the battery, the lower the target cranking speed N* of the engine is set, and the motor is driven by using a power from the battery at the target cranking speed N* to perform the cranking of the engine. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an injection valve abnormality determination in an early stage while restraining deterioration in fuel efficiency.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle mounts an internal combustion engine 20 which includes an in-cylinder injection valve 23 and a port injection valve 24, and a second power generation electric motor MG2, and applies user-requested torque to a drive shaft 53. Furthermore, the vehicle stops operation of the engine when determining an engine operation stop condition is satisfied, and performs an engine intermittent operation in which the engine is started when determining an engine start condition is satisfied. The vehicle performs abnormality determination concerning the in-cylinder injection valve while injecting all fuel from the in-cylinder injection valve, and performs abnormality determination concerning the port injection valve while injecting all fuel from the port injection valve. The vehicle inhibits the engine intermittent operation and keeps operation of the engine, for example, in a case of promoting warm-up of a catalyst 29. In this case, if at least one of abnormality determinations concerning the in-cylinder injection valve and the port injection valve has not been completed, the vehicle operates the engine so that the load of the engine falls within a predetermined load range.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling control device of an internal combustion engine capable of striking a balance between warm-up promotion of the engine and enhancement of heat recovery efficiency by an exhaust heat recovery device. SOLUTION: The cooling control device of the internal combustion engine includes an electric water pump and the exhaust heat recovery device on a cooling water passage and executes control for alternately repeating positive rotation and reverse rotation of the electric water pump every predetermined time period when the internal combustion engine is cold. Thus, as the cooling water in the exhaust heat recovery device flows, its thermal conductivity rises compared to the time when circulation of the cooling water is stopped and heat recovery efficiency by the exhaust heat recovery device can be enhanced. In addition, it is possible to accumulate heat generated by the internal combustion engine in the cooling water in the internal combustion engine as much as possible. Thus, it is possible to strike a balance between the warm-up promotion of the internal engine and enhancement of heat recovery efficiency by the exhaust heat recovery device. SOLUTION: This misfire determination device determines (S160) whether or not rotation fluctuation ΔNe of engine speed Ne is synchronized with fluctuation Δθ of the torsional angle θ of a damper 28 when a difference between the target engine speed Ne* of the engine 22 and engine speed Ne is a threshold Nref or more. When the rotation fluctuation ΔNe is synchronized with the fluctuation Δθ of the torsional angle, it is determined (S170) that the difference between the target engine speed Ne* and the engine speed Ne is the threshold Nref or more by the misfire of any one of the cylinders of the engine 22. When the rotation fluctuation ΔNe is not synchronized with the fluctuation Δθ of the torsional angle, it is determined (S180) that the difference between the target engine speed Ne* and the engine speed Ne is the threshold Nref or more by disturbance from the road surface. SOLUTION: The hybrid vehicle has an engine lubricating system 110, a motor lubricating system 120, and an engine oil pump 126 supplying a lubricating oil of the motor lubricating system 120 to an engine 22. When the lubricating oil temperature of the motor lubricating system 120 is higher than that of the engine lubricating system 110 reflecting temperature of the engine 22, the lubricating oil of the motor lubricating system 120 can be supplied to the engine 22 for promoting warming up of the engine 22. When operation of the engine 22 is stopped and travel is carried out by a motor, if the lubricating oil temperature of the engine lubricating system 110 is lower than a first temperature and the lubricating oil temperature of the motor lubricating system 120 is higher than a second temperature higher than the first temperature, control is carried out to drive the engine oil pump 126, so that warming up of the engine 22 can be promoted more surely. SOLUTION: A hybrid automobile 20 executes increasing processing of fuel injection amount and does not execute EGR processing when the temperature of a purifying device 134 is in a range not less than a threshold Tref at which the deterioration of a catalyst is generated, estimates the catalyst temperature Tc1 reachable when the EGR processing is executed by using the rotation speed Ne of an engine 22, if a load of the engine 22 tends to decrease from that state, and executes the EGR processing regardless of the catalyst temperature Tc and executes the fuel increasing processing, when the estimated catalyst Tc1 is lower than the threshold Tref. By executing the fuel increasing processing and the EGR processing, the catalyst temperature Tc gets lower than the threshold Tref, so that the increasing processing of the fuel injection amount is released in an early stage.
