PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braze alloy composition for sealing a ceramic component to a metal component in an electrochemical cell, and an electrochemical cell using the braze alloy composition for sealing a ceramic component to a metal component in the cell.SOLUTION: A braze alloy composition 140, 150 includes copper, nickel, and an active metal element. The braze alloy composition includes nickel in an amount less than about 30 weight percent, and the active metal element in an amount less than about 10 weight percent. The active metal element is Ti, Zr, Hf, V, or a combination thereof.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a cutting method and cutting equipment for cutting steel sheet using a solid-state laser or fibre laser. In this cutting method, a laser beam that is emitted from a solid-state laser oscillator or fibre laser oscillator is formed into a ring beam (1). This ring beam (1) is directed onto a material (4) that is to be cut. Oxygen gas (2) is jetted along the axis (5) thereof. This cutting equipment has: a laser oscillator (11), a laser torch (12) having a nozzle (3), an optical system that has a conical prism (13) that is constructed between the laser oscillator (11) and the nozzle (3), a convex lens (14) and an optical fibre (15); and an oxygen gas supply system (17) that is connected with the laser torch (12). The laser beam that is emitted from the laser oscillator is formed, by means of the optical system, into the ring beam (1) and is directed from the nozzle (3) towards the material (4) that is to be cut, and the material (4) is cut by jetting the oxygen gas (2) that is supplied from the oxygen gas supply system (17) from the nozzle (3) towards the material (4) that is to be cut.
Abstract:
A laser welding apparatus includes: a first optical element that coaxially emits, to a welded part, a laser beam emitted from a laser light source and an object beam having a different wavelength from the laser beam; a second optical element that causes the spot diameter of the object beam to be larger than the spot diameter of the laser beam on the welded part; an optical interferometer that emits the object beam to the first optical element, detects through the first optical element the object beam reflected on the welded part, and generates an electric signal based on the detected object beam; and a measuring unit that measures a penetration depth of the welded part based on the electric signal.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain-oriented electric steel sheet in which both core loss and noise are reduced.SOLUTION: In an electric steel sheet, regions with locally high lattice defect density are formed on a surface of or within the steel sheet and magnetic domains are refined. In the electric steel sheet, the hardness of the high lattice defect density regions measured by a micro Vickers hardness meter is equal to or less than the hardness of other regions.
Abstract:
[Problem] To enable fast and precise welding control for large current, as well as to reduce power consumption. [Solution] A welding transformer is provided with a ring-shaped core (25), a split primary coil (12), and a plurality of positive coils (14) and plurality of negative coils (16) alternately positioned one by one in the gaps (12a) of the primary coil (12). The plurality of positive coils (14) and plurality of negative coils (16) form a secondary coil. The positive coils (14) are electrically connected to a positive conductor (30) via a first connecting plate (44). The negative coils (16) are electrically connected to a negative conductor (32) via a second connecting plate (46). The connection between each positive coil (14) and negative coil (16) is electrically connected to a third connecting plate (48). The positive conductor (30), a rectifier element (18), and a first plate (34) are disposed on one side of a thin insulating layer (31), and the negative conductor (32), a rectifier element (20), and a second plate (36) are disposed on the other side. The first plate (34) and second plate (36) are electrically connected to a third plate (38). Thereby, a small welding transformer with high capacity can be achieved.
