Halogen-free self-extinguishing oligomeric or polymeric compounds derived from 1, 3, 5-triazine, having the general formula I wherein or a heterocyclic radical containing in the ring at least one nitrogen atom which radical is linked to the triazine ring through one of such nitrogen atoms, R 2 is alkyl or cycloalkyl, R 1 is a divalent radical of piperazine of the formula or a divalent radical of the type or R 2 is alkyl or cycloalkyl, n is an integer from 2 to 30, extremes included, m is an integer from 2 to 6, extremes included, p is an integer from 2 to 12 extremes included, and X 1 =OH, NH 2 or X, wherein X 1 and X may be the same or different, X 2 is a hydrogen or an C 1 -C 4 alkyl group, and a solvent-free process for the production of the compounds of Formula I as well as the use of the self-extinguishing oligomeric or polymeric compounds as flame retardants and light stabilizers in thermoplastic polymers such as polypropylene or regenerated cellulose or polyester.

There is provided an insulated electric wire for an automobile capable of suppressing a decrease in the flame retardancy with reducing the amount of the metal hydrate flame retardant such as magnesium hydroxide to be added, improving an ASR recycling rate, and suppressing a decrease in properties. The present invention relates to an insulated electric wire for an automobile containing a conductor and an insulating coating layer which coats the conductor, the insulating coating layer being formed of a non-crosslinkable resin composition containing 65 to 90 parts by weight of a polypropylene-based resin, 10 to 40 parts by weight of a metal hydrate, 20 to 50 parts by weight of a bromine-based flame retardant, 5 to 30 parts by weight of antimony trioxide, and 2 to 15 parts by weight of a maleic acid-modified resin in the ratio and further containing at least one of 3 to 10 parts by weight of a polyethylene resin and 2 to 10 parts by weight of an ethylene-based copolymer.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition that excels in impact resistance, heat resistance, moldability and chemical resistance, and is suitable as a molding material or the like of a portable terminal housing.SOLUTION: An aromatic polycarbonate based composite resin composition includes: 3-20 pts.mass of a graft copolymer (C) that graft-polymerizes a (meth)acrylic acid ester compound to a diene rubber; and 0.005-0.1 pt.mass of a stabilizer (D) based on 100 pts.mass of a resin component consisting of 60-90 pts.mass of an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A) and 10-40 pts.mass of a polyester resin (B). The graft copolymer (C) is such that a sulfur content is 100-1,500 ppm, and an average particle diameter is 70-240 nm, and the stabilizer (D) is an organic phosphate compound shown by the following general formula (I): O=P(OH)(OR)(in the formula, R is an alkyl group or an aryl group; m is 0-2).
