PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new lusterless electrodeposition coating composition having better weatherability, mar resistance and coating film hardness than conventional compositions, and excellent in coating film properties such as chemical resistance, solvent resistance and mechanical properties, a finish feeling, workability, stability of a coating and the like. SOLUTION: An anionic lusterless electrodeposition coating composition comprises (A) a vinyl copolymer having a Tg of 0-50°C prepared by copolymerizing (a) an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, (b) a hydroxy group-containing α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer, (c) an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a crosslinking functional group, and (d) another α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer, (B) a vinyl copolymer prepared by copolymerizing (e) 40-90 wt.% of an α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer whose homopolymer has a Tg of 60-170°C, (f) 5-40 wt.% of a hydroxy group-containing α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer, and (g) another α,β-ethylenically unsaturated monomer as the remaining portion of the monomer components, and (C) a crosslinking agent. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly heat-resistant gel composition that does not cause trouble in an electric contact, has transparency and excellent heat resistance without requiring a complicated treatment and an expensive composition and a coating agent and to provide a coating method. SOLUTION: The highly heat-resistant gel composition comprises (A) a crosslinkable silyl group-containing organic polymer containing ≥50 % by mass and ≤100 % by mass of a crosslinkable silyl group-containing vinyl-based polymer and (B) a curing catalyst and has ≥20 consistency and preferably further contains (C) a plasticizer. SOLUTION: The coating composition for a weak solvent type coating comprises a copolymer (A) component that substantially comprises a vinyl-based polymer and contains at least one hydrolyzable silicon group linked to a carbon atom in the molecule, a silicon compound and/or its hydrolyzate condensate (B) component, a pigment dispersant (C) component, a pigment (D) component and a weak solvent (E) component. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous coating composition which can obtain a coating with excellent contamination resistance in outdoor exposure by providing the surface with hydrophilic properties. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous coating composition comprises 0.5-30 parts by weight, preferably 1-20 parts by weight of a silicone surfactant (b) is blended per 100 parts by weight of a polymer (a) having a hydrolyzable silicon group. The nonaqueous coating composition may preferably further contain an inorganic filler (c) having a particle size of 0.2-4.0 mm.
