Abstract: The invention relates to a process and a device for compression moulding fibre webs (prepregs) which are laminated to form assemblies and impregnated with curable resins with the application of pressure and heat in a multi-daylight press with heatable and coolable press platens which are movable towards one another, in which process a stack of one or more assemblies separated from one another by press-insert plates is covered at the top and bottom by in each case a cover plate which is somewhat larger than the press-insert plates and the stack is inserted between two press platens and secured against slipping by means of at least two compressibly constructed bodies which are inserted at two opposing sides with compression into the interspace formed by the cover plates projecting beyond a stack.
