PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide on-vehicle radio communications equipment and a radio communication system which shorten the time, where a telephone call for data communication is difficult to place. SOLUTION: The radio communications equipment 10, to which power is supplied by turning on a switch 22, has a boarding detection means 23 for detecting boarding of a passenger in a vehicle; a radio communication means 19 for performing radio communication with second radio communications equipment 20; and a power supply circuit 21 which supplies power to the radio communication means 19, even if the switch 22 is turned off, when the boarding is detected by the boarding detection means 23, when the power is supplied to the radio communication means 19 by the power supply circuit 21; and when the second radio communication equipment 20 is present within a predetermined distance, the radio communications equipment 19 receives data 40 stored by the second radio communications equipment 20. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handsfree telephone apparatus in which a plurality of mobile phones can be registered as a handsfree mobile phones to automatically connect a selected mobile phone out of the plurality of registered mobile phone with a mobile phone previously used, and to provide a handsfree connection method. SOLUTION: The handsfree telephone apparatus performs short range radio communication with the mobile phone and performs communication processing with another telephone apparatus through the mobile phone, and the handsfree telephone apparatus is equipped with a storage means for storing a log of a predetermined mobile phone selected out of the plurality of registered mobile phones and used beforehand, and a short range radio communication means for sending a connection request to the mobile phone previously used and the predetermined mobile phone through a short range radio communication system based upon the log stored in the storage means when a connection with the mobile phone is cut off. SOLUTION: The handsfree telephone apparatus performs short-range radio communication with the mobile phone to perform communication processing with other telephone apparatuses through the mobile phone, and the handsfree telephone apparatus includes: a registering means for registering a plurality of mobile phones in association with connection priority while the connection priority are set for the plurality of mobile phones; and a short-range radio communication means for making connection requests by a short-range radio communication system with the mobile phones according to connection response wait times set for each the connection priority. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner for a vehicle allowing use of a heater able to warm inside a cabin sufficiently while balancing is well taken with the load of an electric power supply for the vehicle. SOLUTION: The air-conditioner 30 for the vehicle includes a PTC heater fed with current from a 12-V battery 18 as the power supply for the vehicle and warming inside the cabin and an ECU 32 etc. for air-conditioning. A current feed determining part 34 determines whether the PTC heater 50 should be fed with current or not on the basis of signals given by a warming switch 44 and a water temperature sensing means 22 for engine cooling water, while a load determining means determines whether the power supply for the vehicle is an overloaded condition based on the context of a signal line 48 from a DC/DC converter 16, and a current feed controlling means performs an intermittent current feed control using a current feed On/Off ratio with which the temperature of the PTC heater 50 can rise, in case there is necessity for feeding the current to the PTC heater 50 and the power supply for the vehicle is overloaded. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a signal corresponding to the accurate position of a detected body when a slide body changes in slide position on a substrate owing to disturbance, etc. SOLUTION: A pedal stroke sensor 18 is equipped with the substrate 64 and a rotor 54 which rotates as a brake pedal is operated. Brushes 60 and 62 which slant in mutually opposite directions to the direction of a slide on the substrate 64 are fixed to the rotor 54. On the substrate 64, a circuit is formed which generate output voltages V1A and V1B increasing and decreasing in mutually opposite directions according to the slide of the brush 60 on the substrate 64. A signal corresponding to the deviation |V1A-V1B| between the output voltages is outputted as a signal corresponding to the brake pedal of the brake pedal 12. Consequently, when the brushes 60 and 62 shift in slide positions on the substrate 64 owing to disturbance such as vibration, the output voltages V1A and V1B increase and decrease in the same direction. Consequently, even when the brushes 60 and 62 shift in slide position on the substrate 64, variation in the deviation |V1A-V1B| is suppressed.

CONSTITUTION:In an exhaust gas purifying device provided with the NOx absorbing member 6 of alkaline earth metal oxide and the like in the exhaust passage 4 of a lean combustible internal combustion engine, an air fuel ratio is made in a strike or rich condition intermittently or continuously when the air fuel ratio is in lean condition, and exhaust gas is at a high temperature (for example 550 deg.C) or when the absorbing member 6 is at a high temperature.

SOLUTION: The power supply 10 comprises a vehicle mounted battery 12 being charged by an alternator generating power through rotation of an engine, and a capacitor 16 being charged by the vehicle mounted battery 12. When driving of the alternator 14 is stopped, charging of the capacitor 16 from the vehicle mounted battery 12 is forbidden. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reference-position setting device which is of a simple constitution and by which a reference position used to mount a movable member to be moved relatively to a mounting part can be set easily and surely. SOLUTION: The reference position is set by a fixation member 5 with reference to the movable member (an arm member) connected to a measuring object. The fixation member 5 is composed of a body 50 and a protrusion 53 which is formed on the side face on the side of the movement direction of the arm member, it comprises an outer face fitted so as to come into contact with a hole in the arm member, and a slit 54 is formed in parallel with the axis of the hole. The tip of the protrusion 53 is cut toward the side opposite to the movement direction of the arm member, and a chamfered part 55 is formed. The protrusion 53 is arranged in such a way that it is fitted to the hole in the arm member so as to be coupled to the arm member, the reference position of the arm member is set in this state, and the body of the fixation member is fixed to the mounting part in the reference position. When the arm member is turned and driven, the protrusion 53 is broken easily and removed surely.

PURPOSE:To release NOx from NOx absorbent by using fuel vapor generated in a fuel tank. CONSTITUTION:NOx absorbent 18 which absorbs NOx when an air-fuel ratio of inflow exhaust gas is lean and releases the absorbed NOx when oxygen concentration in the inflow exhaust gas is reduced, is arranged in an engine exhaust gas passage. The NOx generated when lean air-fuel mixture is burnt, is absorbed in the NOx absorbent 18. When the NOx is released from the NOx absorbent 18, a purge control valve 27 is opened. At this time, fuel vapor is supplied to a surge tank 10 from a charcoal canister 20, and the air-fuel mixture supplied to an engine is made rich.

PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for regeneration by reducing consumption of a reducing agent when NOx absorbent is regenerated. CONSTITUTION:When NOx absorbent is regenerated by supplying a reducing agent to a container from a reducing agent supply quantity supply device 4 after inflow of exhaust gas to the container 3 to house the NOx absorbent 1 is cut off, an air current is generated to carry the reducing agent through the NOx absorbent. Since a high concentration reducing agent layer passes through the NOx absorbent while being carried on the carrying air current, respective parts of the NOx absorbent are generated successivly as the reducing agent layer passes, so that regeneration is carried out efficiently in a short time by a small quantity of reducing agent.
