Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a second power storage device from abnormally generating heat in a vehicle power supply system including a first power storage device for storing electric power for traveling and the second power storage device for storing electric power for auxiliary machinery.SOLUTION: A DC/DC converter 31 is provided between a main power storage device MB and an auxiliary machinery battery AB, converts voltage of electric power output from the main power storage device MB so as to charge the auxiliary machinery battery AB. A control device 50 executes an extraction charging control for charging the auxiliary machinery battery AB by the DC/DC converter 31 while a vehicle 100 is parked. The control device 50 determines whether the auxiliary machinery battery AB is abnormal on the basis of information on a dark current of the auxiliary machinery battery AB while the vehicle 100 is parked, and does not execute the extraction charging control if determining that the auxiliary machinery battery AB is abnormal.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control the termination of charging in a power supply system which charges a mounted power storage device with electric power from a power supply device from another vehicle.SOLUTION: When charging is terminated during the charging conducted between vehicles, an ECU 300 of a power reception side vehicle 100 lowers a gate voltage of a switching element Q1 included in a converter 120, and thereby lowering the charge current from a power supply side vehicle 100A. The power supply side vehicle 100A determines the termination of the charging operation in the power reception side vehicle 100 by detecting the lowering of an output current IL# and stops the power supply operation.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable charging in case of emergency for a charger and a vehicle that are not allowed to charge depending on the amount of carbon dioxide emitted during a commercial power generation process, even when the amount of carbon dioxide reaches the level at which charging is prohibited.SOLUTION: Based on information on the amount of carbon dioxide emitted to generate commercial power, an electronic control unit (ECU) 300 controls whether a power converter 200 is permitted to charge a power storage device 110 or prohibited from charging it. In addition, when a command to forcibly charge the power storage device 110 is received from a user, the ECU 300 charges the power storage device 110 even if the power storage device 110 is prohibited from being charged based on the information on the amount of carbon dioxide.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent overcharging of an auxiliary battery in charging the auxiliary battery using a power supply external to a vehicle.SOLUTION: A main battery 14 is charged from a power supply 10 external to a vehicle by using a charger 12. In addition to the charger 12, a charging system includes a sub-AC/DC converter 18 which is used for charging an auxiliary battery 20. The sub-AC/DC converter 18 compares a terminal voltage of the auxiliary battery 20 with a prescribed reference voltage for intermittent operation, preventing overcharging of the auxiliary battery 20.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular electrical power system in which adequate auxiliary charging to an auxiliary machine battery can be performed even in a case that an auxiliary machine is used during parking, while preventing a reduction in energy efficiency.SOLUTION: A vehicular electrical power system comprises a main battery MB, an auxiliary machine battery 7 which outputs a voltage different from that of the main battery MB and supplies electric power to an auxiliary machine load circuit 5 of a vehicle, a DC/DC converter 6 which is connected between the main battery MB and the auxiliary machine battery 7, and charges the auxiliary machine battery 7 by utilizing electric power supplied from the main battery MB, and a control device 30 which controls the DC/DC converter 6. The control device 30 performs charging of the auxiliary machine battery 7 by the DC/DC converter 6 when a setting time elapses from when a stop command is input to the vehicular electrical power system until when a start command is issued again to the vehicular electrical power system. The control device 30 changes the setting time according to an auxiliary machine usage time integration value of the auxiliary machine load circuit 5 during stop of the electrical power system.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably suppress, in a power supply system for a vehicle comprising a first power storage device storing power for running and a second power storage device storing power for auxiliary equipment, depletion of power of the second power storage device.SOLUTION: A DC/DC converter 31 is provided between a main power storage device MB and an auxiliary battery AB. A control apparatus 50 executes extract-charging control for charging the auxiliary battery AB by the DC/DC converter 31 during parking of a vehicle 100. The control apparatus 50 estimates a SOC decreasing amount of the main power storage device MB in a period from when parking time exceeds a predetermined time to when the vehicle 100 is started, and sets an extract-lower-limit SOC based on the estimated SOC decreasing amount. When a SOC is lower than the extract-lower-limit SOC, the control apparatus 50 does not execute the extract-charging control.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power supply device capable of preventing usage of an electric apparatus connected to an outlet provided at a vehicle from being limited due to the magnitude of electric power suppliable from an external electric power supply to the electric apparatus, and to provide a vehicle with the same and a control method for the electric power supply device.SOLUTION: An electric power converter 45 is electrically connected to a charging inlet 40, an energy storage device 10, and an outlet 60. The electric power converter 45 converts the electric power supplied from the energy storage device 10 to electric power supplied to the outlet 60. When the suppliable electric power that the external electric power supply 85 can supply to the outlet 60 is smaller than outputtable electric power that the outlet 60 can supply, a PM-ECU 65 controls the output of the supply electric power to the outlet 60 and the output of the electric power stored in to the energy storage device 10 to the outlet 60 in accordance with electric power consumption Po of the electric apparatus.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve user convenience by giving priority to power supply with respect to commercial power of a power storage system mounted in a vehicle.SOLUTION: The power storage system mounted in the vehicle includes: a power storage device for charging and discharging; a power conversion unit for converting power from the power storage device to output commercial power; and a control unit for controlling power supply with respect to a vehicle demand output corresponding to load operating by receiving power from the power storage device and a commercial power demand output corresponding to an external device operating by receiving commercial power, respectively. When a user operation which gives priority to supply of commercial power to the external device is performed, the control unit calculates an upper limit value of power supply with respect to the vehicle demand output corresponding to power supply with respect to the commercial power demand output from an upper output limit value of the power storage device and controls power supply with respect to the vehicle demand output by limiting it to the calculated upper limit value.
