    Abstract: C:0.04%以下、Cr:7〜20%、Ni:10〜22%、Si:2.5〜7%、Mn:10%以下、sol.Al:0.03%以下、P:0.03%以下、S:0.03%以下、N:0.035%以下、Nb、Ti、Ta、Zrのうち1種または2種以上の合計:0.05〜0.7%を含有し、残部がFeおよび不純物からなる化学組成を有するステンレス鋼のスラブに、熱間圧延時の加熱温度をThとし、(1)式:Th=1135−90Si−2.9Cr+40Ni−&Dgr;T中の&Dgr;Tが30℃以上である加熱温度Thに加熱して熱間圧延を行い、ついで1100〜1160℃の温度に加熱して100℃/分以上の冷却速度で冷却する熱処理を行うことにより、ヘゲ疵を発生させずに、高温、高濃度硝酸環境中で使用できる耐食性を備えた高Si含有オーステナイト系ステンレス鋼を確実に製造できる。

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strip manufacturing facility by which each edge drop part can be reduced together with a central part and the edge drop part can be left on the exit side after rolling even if there is a large edge drop part on a strip of the entering side and the sizes of the right and left edge drop parts are different. SOLUTION: The strip manufacturing facility is provided with a rolling mill 10 which has a pair of upper and lower work rolls 20 for reducing a slab material 1 having the edge drop part 2 on both end parts and a pair of upper and lower stand-by rolls 30 for suppressing the deformation of the work rolls. The work rolls 20 have a inverted taper part 24 in which the diameter of the shaft end side is gradually enlarged to a barrel end part corresponding to the edge drop part. The upper and lower work rolls are constituted so as to be capable of separately and axially shifting. The stand-by rolls 30 have a relief part 34 in which the diameter of the shaft end side is gradually reduced so as not to come into contact with the inverted taper part of the work rolls in the shift range of the work rolls.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent a material to be rolled from the generation of tension, by calculating a correcting amount of the speed of a stand before the material is bitten by the stand placed on the upstream, and increasing the speed of said stand by using this correcting amount of speed before the material is bitten by a stand placed on the downstream. CONSTITUTION:A correcting amount of speed of a Rn stand is calculated by a mass flow calculating device 2 and a speed-correcting-signal generating device 3 basing on the conditions of rolling and a slab before a slab 1 is bitten by the Rn stand. When the slab 1 is bitten by the Rn stand, the tip of the slab 1 is tracked by a timing circuit at the same time to input a signal, corresponding to the amount of speed correction, from the device 3 to a driving motor 4 of the Rn stand before the slab 1 is bitten by a Rn+1 stand, thereby increasing the speed of the motor 4. Thus, the tension of the slab 1 between both stands is not generated even when the slab 1 is bitten by the Rn+1 stand. And when the rolling is transferred into a stationary state, the timing circuit 5 cuts the correcting signal off to return the motor 4 used for driving the Rn stand to its stationary running.
