There is provided a method of forming a blister pack comprising contacting a base sheet having a blister pocket therein with a cover sheet and applying laser energy to form a join between said cover sheet and said blister pocket of said base sheet. The blister pack is preferably in the form of an elongate strip. The blister pack is suitable for the containment of a range of different products, particularly medicaments.

PURPOSE:To prepare the titled composite container capable of being certainly and easily subjected to hermetical sealing, by forming an upper edge rib to the upper edge of a container side wall while double-seaming the outer periphey of a lid to the upper edge rib while supporting the pressure receiving projection formed to the outer surface of the container side wall to perform sealing. CONSTITUTION:A frame comprising a synthetic resin material is provided to the desired part of a panel material comprising a flexible material for constituting a container for the sake of the connection and reinforcement of the panel material to prepare composite container. In this method, an upper rib 7 is formed to the upper edge of the container side wall 1 as one of the frame. This upper edge rib 7 fixes the upper end part of the container side wall and reinforces the opening part of the container. A pressure receiving projection 20 is formed to the upper outer surface of the container side wall 1 from a synthetic resin material so as to be integrated with the frame and the peripheral edge of a lid 3 and the upper edge (the upper edges 4, 5 and the upper edge rib 7 of the panel material) of the container side wall 1 are rolled and sealed by a roll type seaming means while the pressure receiving projection 20 is supported from below by a pressure receiving stand 21.

The present invention concerns a container lid comprising a ring (2) defining an opening (6), said opening (6) being closed by a membrane (7) of "peelable" type, which peelable membrane (7) is joined to a peripheral surface (L) of said ring (2), said joining surface (L) being delimited by an inner border (Li) and an outer border (Lo), by means of a layer of matter (16) known as sealant layer constituting a surface coating layer of said ring (2) and / or said peelable membrane (7). According to the invention, on at least a part of the circumference of said joining surface (L), the thickness of the sealant layer (16) is variable in the radial direction, that is to say on its width, forming a width of variable thickness, this thickness increasing on at least a part of the width of said joining surface (L), in the direction from its outer border (Lo) towards its inner border (Li).
