Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for decompression heat treatment which can prevent the stickiness of the tool for heat treatment to a material to be treated even in the case of performing a decompression heat treatment, and to provide a decompression heat treatment method using the tool. SOLUTION: The tool 1 for decompression heat treatment, which is used for supporting the material 8 to be treated when an iron-based material 8 to be treated is heat-treated under reduced pressure atmosphere reducing the pressure at lower than the atmospheric pressure, is composed of the iron-based material, and a film 2 composed of a remaining material during the heat treatment is formed at least on the surface in contact with the material 8. It is preferable that the film 2 contains a metal oxide having higher vaporizing temperature than the heat-treatment temperature under reduced pressure atmosphere, and also the film 2 contains alumina. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier rack used for holding and carrying a metal ring component of a push belt in a heat-treatment process step. SOLUTION: The carrier rack is provided with: at least three parallel rods 51a, 51b, 51c which extend in a vertical direction; and ring seats 53 where rods 51a, 51b, 51c are mutually connected in a horizontal direction with at least one of spacer 52, so as to be respectively projected in a number of horizontal direction, wherein a tapered, that is, at least effectively V-shaped recessed parts of the rods 51a, 51b, 51c define the wideness in radically outward direction relative to the long axes of the respective rods 51a, 51b, 51c. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for cooling a workpiece. SOLUTION: The surface of supporting bodies 107 and 115 support the workpiece F at an operation position. A supply source 127 of a cooling gas and an additional cooling material is provided. The cooling gas contains one component or several (a first) components being gaseous state under a standard ambient condition. The additional cooling material contains one component or several (a second) components being a liquid state under a standard ambient condition. A conduit system has many outlets 131 and 135 arranged so as to introduce the cooling gas and the additional cooling material from the supply source and also discharge a mixture of the cooling gas and the additional cooling material so as to collide with the workpiece at the operation position. Abstract:
PURPOSE:To prevent the heat exchange by the radiation heat from a material to be worked and to decrease considerably the temp. change of the material during conveyance in the stage of conveying the heated or cooled material by finishing the inside surface of a conveying passage to a specular surface. CONSTITUTION:The material 2 to be worked such as leaf spring which is heated at the end part 2a in a heating furnace 5 is conveyed by a chain conveyer, is unloaded from the conveyer at the point A and is transferred to the next stage in the direction B. The heated end part 2a is passed in an insulating device 1 of which the inside surface is formed of the specular surface consisting of a chrome-plated steel plate or heat-resistant glass mirror. The heat exchange by the radiation between the surface 4a and the end part 2a is prevented and the decrease in the temp. at the high-temp. end part 2a is reduced. The need for reheating owing to the temp. decrease during conveyance is eliminated. Conversely the temp. rise of the cooled part by the outdoor air during the conveyance is similarly prevented.
