Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying an organic material, which can sublimate and purify an organic material having a high sublimation temperature and high heat resistance within a short time with high purity and high yield.SOLUTION: The method comprises: reducing the concentration of inorganic impurities in an organic material to 5,000 ppm or less, wherein the organic material has a temperature of 10% weight loss of 250°C or higher as measured by thermogravimetry under a degree of vacuum of 1×10Pa or less; and then sublimating the organic material, thereby purifying the organic material.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent device having high color purity, superior thermal resistance, and long lifetime, being highly efficient, and capable of obtaining blue to yellow based light-emission, and to provide an organic light-emitting medium that is preferably used for the same. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent device is composed by sandwiching an organic light-emitting medium layer containing (A) a specific arylamine compound, and (B) a specific spirofluorene derivative between a pair of electrodes. The organic light-emitting medium contains the components (A) and (B). COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing at a low cost a norbornene derivative having a spiro skeleton or a cyclic hydrocarbon compound that may be used as a raw material for synthesizing a norbornene derivative having a spiro skeleton. SOLUTION: A compound represented by formula (1) and a compound represented by formula (2-1) or the like are subjected to condensation reaction in a hydrocarbon solvent in the presence of an alkali metal hydroxide as a base, to produce a compound represented by formula (3-1) or the like, wherein, in formula (1) and (4), R 1 to R 8 indicate each a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or the like; A indicates a single bond, a divalent (substituted) hydrocarbon group or the like; and a, b and c indicate each 0 to 2; and in formula (2-2), R 9 and R 10 indicate a carbocycle, a heterocycle or the like bonded with each other; and X and Y each indicate a halogen atom, a sulfonate group or the like. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for economically and efficiently producing a spiro compound. SOLUTION: The spiro compound represented by formula (4) is produced by condensing cyclization reaction of a compound represented by formula (1) with a compound represented by formula (2-1) in the presence of a base, wherein a metal hydride is used as the base. [In formula (1) and formula (4), R 1 to R 8 are each H, a halogen or the like; A is a single bond, a divalent (substituted) hydrocarbon or the like; and (a), (b) and (c) are 0 to 2. In formula (2-1), R 9 and R 10 are each a carbocyclic ring, a heterocycle or the like, which are mutually bonded; and X and Y are each H, a halogen, a phosphate or the like].
