    摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a new bicyclo(2,2,1)heptane derivative exhibiting an excellent antiarrhythmic activity, excellent in stability in an organism, low in toxicity and useful as an antiarrhythmic agent. CONSTITUTION:A compound of formula I [R is H or formulae II to IV (R to R are each H, a halogen, a lower alkyl, a lower alkoxy, NO2 or OH); R is H, a lower alkyl or phenyl; R is a lower alkyl; R to R are each H, a halogen, a lower alkoxy, a lower alkylsulfonyl, NH2, mono- or di-(lower alkyl)amino, NO2 or OH; Y to Y are each CH2 or CO; m is 0 to 3; n is 2 to 4] and its salt, e.g. 5-endo-(3-indolecarbonyloxy)-N-{3-[3,4-dimethoxyphenethyl) methylamino]propyl}-bicyclo[2,2,1]hyptane-2,3-diendo-carboxylic acid imide. A compound in which one or both of Y and Y are CO while satisfying R =H can be obtained by a reaction between a compound of formula V and a compound of formula VI.
