PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for industrially producing a triarylphosphine having high storage stability without forming any byproduct and without causing any phosphine odor. SOLUTION: This method for industrially producing the triarylphosphine of formula(1) comprises carrying out a reaction between a Grignard reagent of the general formula(2) and a phosphorus compound of formula(3), recrystallizing and refining the resultant crude triarylphosphine with a recrystallizing solvent followed by carrying out a distillation for further refining. In formulae(1), (2) and (3), X 1 is a halogen atom; X 2 is a halogen atom, an alkoxy or aryloxy; R is H, a halogen atom, an alkyl, alkoxy or haloalkyl; (n) is an integer of 1-3; when (n) is ≥2, the groups R may be same as or different from each other, and when X 1 , X 2 and R are each a halogen atom, the groups R may be same as or different from each other. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hardened flame retardant epoxy resin prepared by reacting an epoxy resin having two or more functional groups with a hardener through an addition reaction between an active hydrogen atom and an epoxy group. SOLUTION: The hardening agent including phosphorus for a hardened flame retardant epoxy resin comprises a compound selected from the group consisting of those represented by formulas (a)-(d). (In the formulas either one of A or A' is a group including phosphorus). The hardened epoxy resin including phosphorus is prepared by crosslinking a molten epoxy resin in the presence of a mixed hardener comprising the hardener and an arbitrary hardener for epoxy resins.
