摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ground processing agent which allows for formation of a primer film having excellent HF resistance, electrolyte resistance and solvent resistance, and capable of ensuring laminate adhesion, under severe environment required for the case packaging material or the tab lead of a lithium ion secondary battery for automobile, or the like, sufficiently for a long term.SOLUTION: The ground processing agent contains a chitosan derivative, a carboxyl compound having at least one carboxyl group in a molecule, and water. The containing mass ratio of chitosan derivative/carboxyl compound is in the range of 1.0/0.5-1.0/3.0.

The method for coating the article comprises coating the aqueous solution of the chitosan on the front surface or the inner surface of the article, and drying the coated solution so that the water content is ≤15 mass%.
