Abstract:
A phthalocyanine compound (1) of a specific structure excelling in ability to absorb near infrared, ability to effect selective absorption of near infrared radiation particularly in a wavelength range exceeding 920 nm and falling short of 1050 nm, solubility in a solvent as well, compatibility with resin, and in such characteristic properties as heat resistance, light resistance, and weatherability, and a near infrared absorbing filter characterized by using the phthalocyanine compound (1) and phthalocyanine compound (2) having a maximum absorption wavelength at least in the range of 800–920 nm are provided. It enjoys a long service life and permits extensive use without selecting a substrate.
Abstract:
The object of this invention is to offer an information mediating system which can mediate the specific information out of the received information from an information provider. The specific information is information which fulfills the objective specification. This system charges a service fee to the information beneficiary, and pays a compensation to the information provider. The service fee and the compensation are offset for each terminal. The information beneficiary and provider are selected each time according to the objective specification. An information mediating system provided with a plurality of terminals which have both information sending and receiving functions, or either an information sending or a receiving function through a network, and provided with an information mediator which has an information mediating function to mediate an received information through the network. The information mediating function comprises 1) a grouping function to select an information provider and an information beneficiary out of the plurality of terminals according to an objective specification to specify a specific information to be obtained; and 2) a data transmission function to transmit the specific information obtained from the selected information provider, which fulfills the objective specification, to the selected information beneficiary through the network.
Abstract:
A method of help-information control for displaying help information on a display unit of an information processing system executing a plurality of application programs. A status management table for storing the executing status of application programs is provided as common to these programs. During execution of a given application program, the contents of the status information table are updated successively in accordance with the executing status. Whenever an operator makes a help request, the contents of the status management table in effect at that point in time are referenced. The table is searched for the help information corresponding to the request. When found and retrieved, the information is displayed. The search is performed using a program identifier, a message identifier, and a help message searching table that includes the position information containing the corresponding help data. Each application program is equipped with a control data part that makes it possible to reference help data of other application programs.
Abstract:
In a document processing apparatus wherein a format of a document or the like is set, a plurality of possible format patterns are simultaneously displayed, and a selection of a desirable format pattern among said format patterns is made so as to perform a format setting operation. Displays of the format patterns are subdivided into a plurality of screens based on a purpose or usage of a document to be formed. After selecting or designating the purpose or usage of the document, the above-described format pattern is displayed. The document format setting operation which was cumbersome in prior art can be readily performed by selecting a desirable format sample from the format samples which have been categorized based upon the usage thereof, and also by adding an item capable of freely setting a format into the format samples.
Abstract:
A data processing apparatus has an input unit for entering operator data and commands, and a display unit for displaying a work area for data processing. The display unit opens a job menu window for displaying types of selectable jobs by icons at a center of a display screen when the operator needs to select a new job.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a repeatedly usable photosensitive material for electrophotography, comprising an electroconductive substrate, a photosensitive layer and an intermediate layer located between said electroconductive substrate and said photosensitive layer, characterized in that said intermediate layer comprises an electroconductive polymer and an inorganic white pigment.
Abstract:
An anti-inflammatory ophthalmic solution containing (A) 2-(2-fluoro-4-biphenylyl)propionic acid or its ophthalmologically acceptable salt and (B) .beta.-cyclodextrin or .gamma.-cyclodextrin. The ophthalmic solution makes easy operations conducted for diseases in ophthalmic region, and is useful for early recovery or reduction of inflammation by pre- and post-operative topical instillation thereof or by intraocular perfusion with a perfusate to which the ophthalmic solution is added, or for treatment of inflammatory eye diseases.
Abstract:
The present invention suppresses charges incurred by data communications. A controller transmits data values acquired by sensors to a data center at predetermined intervals. When a predetermined interval has elapsed, a data value to be transmitted is compared with the previously transmitted data value, and in the absence of a change that is equal to or more than a predetermined variation amount, this data value is not transmitted. When such a state in which data values are not transmitted continues for a predetermined interval or more, the data value is transmitted irrespective of the data value variation amount. Further, when the data value has changed abruptly, the data value is transmitted even if the predetermined interval has not yet elapsed. The present invention can be applied to a controller that transmits data values acquired by sensors to a data center for collecting these data values.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed to a near-infrared absorbing coat film comprising a near-infrared absorbing dye having a maximum absorption wavelength of 780 nm to 1200 nm, which has a residual near-infrared absorbing capacity of not less than 50% after 48 hours of light irradiation in an accelerated weathering test using a UV Auto Fade Meter.
