    摘要: A method for registering a rotary press for a printing process, in which “n” inking systems (Fn) each produce monochrome printed images and print one on top of the other thereby producing n-colored printed images, includes producing the images of a printed material with at least one sensor station, recording information on rotary movements of printing plate cylinders (Dn), and using the images and the information to produce correction signals which actuate the cylinders until a deviation of the images of the respective inking systems from a desired position on the material lies within a defined range of tolerance values. During the registering method, one printing plate cylinder at a time is in the printing position, the sensor station produces the printed images, and the correction signals are obtained based on the image produced by the respective cylinder and the information on the rotary movements of at least one cylinder.

The web to be printed, which is fed during the pre-registration to the printing machine, has at least one mark, which passes through different printing units during the pre-registration. The time points at which the mark passes the measuring points in the printing units are recorded, and these time points are set with reference to the angular position of the printing images of the respective printing units at those time points.

    摘要: A printing plate cylinder for a printing machine has a rotatable cylinder mandrel and a sleeve that is at least partially positionable over the cylinder mandrel. The angular positions of the mandrel and the sleeve are alignable to each other by a male register element which is fixed on one of the two elements to be aligned, and a female register element which is part of the corresponding other element to be aligned. Both the male and female register elements remain in working connection with each other if the elements to be aligned are in the set position relative to each other. At least one of the male and female register elements is controlled by movement of the other element to be aligned.

The printing machine is provided with sensors for recording parameters of the rotary motion of the cylinders such as the torque and speed. A setting mechanism is provided for setting the at least two cylinders against each other in radial direction. The control unit is configured to trigger the setting mechanism to set the at least two cylinders against each other. The at least two cylinders are brought to different circumferential velocities and set against each other. The relative position of the two cylinders is recorded or maintained when at least one parameter of the rotary motion of the at least two cylinders exceeds a threshold value.
