摘要: Systems and methods for optimizing outcomes in multi-factor systems are described. Business process management, consulting intelligence, business intelligence, mobile intelligence, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and transportation management are integrated, as discussed herein, for optimizing transportation and logistics processes. Users may input legacy knowledge and data such as text, numbers, formulas, algorithms, and automated processes into a computing system for providing the system with industry insights for intelligently analyzing situation contexts, or the system may leverage third-party data. The system may suggest recommended actions based on analyzed situation contexts, and the system may furthermore execute various actions for responding to the situation contexts. The system may be configured to automatically analyze situation contexts and furthermore automatically execute various actions for responding to the situation contexts. In particular embodiments, the system is a software service and may integrate with various computing devices and operating systems.

摘要: Techniques for enabling an augmented reality system to utilize existing output devices in an environment are described herein. An augmented reality system may include one or more augmented reality functional nodes (ARFNs) that are configured to project content onto different non-powered and/or powered display mediums. In addition to projecting content in this manner, the ARFN may also utilize existing content output devices within the environment to further enhance a user's experience while consuming the content. For instance, the ARFN may identify that a television exists within the environment and, in response, the ARFN may instruct the television to display certain content. For instance, if the ARFN is projecting a particular movie, the ARFN may stream or otherwise provide an instruction to the television to begin displaying the movie if the television would provide a better viewing experience than the projector.

摘要: A system for stacking freight within a shipping container is disclosed. The system comprises a first pallet configured to be removably affixed below and have vertical relief from a second pallet when the system is in a fully assembled state. The system also includes a second pallet configured to be removably affixed on top of and have vertical relief from the first pallet. The system also includes a plurality of support members vertically arranged to support the second pallet on top of the first pallet and provide vertical relief between the first and second pallets when the movable modular system is in the fully assembled state. A plurality of fasteners are used to removably attach the ends of crossing support members to the vertically arranged support members when the system is in the fully assembled state.

摘要: An augmented reality system is configured to identify and track user gestures, sounds, and interaction with physical objects to designate active zones. These active zones may be allocated additional processing and functional resources. Gestures may include particular hand or body motions, orientation of a user's head, and so forth. Sounds may include clapping, clicks, whistles, taps, footfalls, humming, singing, speech, and so forth. Active areas as well as inactive areas of lesser or no interest may be designated as well.

摘要: An augmented reality environment allows interaction between virtual and real objects and enhances an unstructured real-world environment. An object datastore comprising attributes of an object within the environment may be built and/or maintained from sources including manufacturers, retailers, shippers, and users. This object datastore may be local, cloud based, or a combination thereof. Applications may interrogate the object datastore to provide user functionality.

摘要: An augmented reality environment allows interaction between virtual and real objects. Various surfaces within the environment such as walls, tables, countertop, chairs, floor, ceiling, and so forth may be used as projection surfaces. Qualified projection surfaces are determined, and an initial projection surface is selected for use from these. This selection may take into account user preferences, user orientation, types of image to be projected, and so forth. Other qualified projection surfaces may have visual indicators projected thereon, indicating relative suitability for use as a projection surface.

摘要: A method of coating a honeycomb monolith substrate comprising a plurality of channels with a liquid comprising a catalyst component comprises the steps of: (i) holding a honeycomb monolith substrate substantially vertically; (ii) introducing a pre-determined volume of the liquid into the substrate via open ends of the channels at a lower end of the substrate; (iii) sealingly retaining the introduced liquid within the substrate; (iv) inverting the substrate containing the retained liquid; and (v) applying a vacuum to open ends of the channels of the substrate at the inverted, lower end of the substrate to draw the liquid along the channels of the substrate.
