摘要: A micro-mirror strip assembly having a plurality of two-dimensional micro-mirror structures with improved deflection and other characteristics is presented. In the micro-mirror structures, electrodes for electrostatic deflection are disposed on conical or quasi-conical entities that are machined, attached or molded into a substrate. The electrodes are quartered approximately parallel to or offset by 45 degrees from rotational axes to form quadrants. Torsion sensors are provided along the axes of rotation to control deflection of the quadrant deflection electrodes.

摘要: A method and system is disclosed for populating a local second line service (“SLS”) database in a telecommunications device (“TD”). The local SLS database is for use by an SLS application that provides a second line service to the user of the TD. To populate the local SLS database, historical data associated with prior use of the TD is mined for relevant information. Relevant information may include, for example, a primary phone number associated with other contact data. Relevant information is then used to populate the local SLS database. The local SLS database is then updated with a relationship number(s) in association with the relevant information. The relationship number enables the SLS application to direct a telecommunication to the primary number via a remote SLS platform.

摘要: A fully adjustable safety chain assembly comprising at least one trailer mounted safety chain adjusting box, at least one vehicle mounted safety chain adjusting box, and a safety chain having a first free end and a second free end. A slot in each of the at least one trailer mounted safety chain adjusting box and at least one vehicle mounted safety chain adjusting box enables the safety chain first free end and second free end, respectively, to be reversible affixed at a selected position, thereby holding the safety chain at a desired length. A locking mechanism secures the safety chain in place to prevent it from dislodging.

摘要: A napkin that is worn for dining includes a strip of adhesive which will releasably attach the napkin to the clothes of a wearer and a release layer for covering the strip of adhesive. The adhesive strip is located on one corner of the napkin and the release layer is located on a corner opposite to the adhesive strip. When the napkin is folded for storage, the release layer covers the adhesive strip, and when the napkin is unfolded for use, the release layer is pulled off of the adhesive strip thereby automatically exposing the adhesive strip for releasable attachment to the clothes of the user. The adhesive strip is covered when the napkin is folded so it will not interfere with the napkin and will not be degraded by contact with other items during storage of the napkin.

摘要: A system and method are disclosed for determining a global position of an anatomical structure. The system utilizes a surgical navigation system and a substrate that is capable of being removably mounted to an outer surface of a user's body. The substrate includes a positional device and a sensor that is tracked by the surgical navigation system. A finger mounted structure capable of communicating with the positional device is also provided. The concatenation of a position of the sensor and a position of the finger mounted structure allows a global position of a point on the anatomical structure to be determined by a computer system.

摘要: The present invention is directed toward providing a system for monitoring events occurring on a networked browser while the browser is processing web page-based transactions and information, wherein the data from the monitoring process is sent to a computer other than the browser on which the transactions are executing and other than the computer from which the transaction was downloaded. Exemplary embodiments of the invention are directed toward a system and method for invoking a monitoring function on a network computer, including the steps of accessing a web page from a web server, updating the web page by inserting a script tag in the web page, wherein the script tag includes location information for a function for monitoring events on a network computer other than the web server, and storing the updated web page on the web server. An alternate embodiment is directed toward a system and method for monitoring events on a network computer, including the steps of downloading a web page from a web server to a client browser within a network, wherein the web page includes a script tag identifying a location of a monitoring function; retrieving the monitoring function based on information in the script tag; invoking the monitoring function to monitor an event on the client browser; and sending monitored data to a measurement computer, wherein the measurement computer is a computer other than the web server.

摘要: A lead frame disposed within the confines of an engine cover, having an insulating portion and an electrically conducting portion. The conducting portion has at least one electrically conducting interconnect. Both the insulating portion and the electrically conducting portion form an integral piece for retaining and accurately positioning devices within an internal combustion engine. The lead frame includes a plurality of retaining elements for retaining or positioning of at least some of the devices; and an electrical connector member extending outside the confines of the internal combustion engine, the electrical connector member having a plurality of electrically conducting terminals in electrical communication with at least some of the devices within the internal combustion engine by means of the at least one electrically conducting interconnect, whereby at least some of the devices are retained and accurately positioned within the internal combustion engine.

摘要: A screwholder device comprising jaws which form two halves of an axial passageway down which a screw is driven. The jaws are hinged at the rearmost end and resiliently held together by a narrowing at the front exit ends. The screw is driven down the passageway and is held by the jaw ends while being driven to a certain extent into a surface, and the screwhead pushes the jaws apart to allow the screw to exit from the device during final securement of the screw.
