摘要: A method for handling, by a ring node of a network having a ring topology, a data transfer of data packets through the network via which the data packets are transmitted to their destination node, wherein each ring node has two neighboring ring nodes. The method includes detecting data packets of an incoming data transfer received from a non ring node to be transmitted through the network to their destination node. Furthermore, a ring direction is added to the data packets of the incoming data transfer, the indication indicating in which direction the data packets of the incoming data transfer are passed through the network having the ring topology. The data packets of the incoming data transfer are forwarded to one of the two neighboring ring nodes based on the added indication.

摘要: A method performed in a network element for reacting to communication performance measurements that fall outside of communication performance thresholds. The network element generates a communication performance measurement between a first endpoint and a second endpoint, wherein each endpoint is a point of communication in the network and at least the first endpoint resides on the network element. The network element retrieves a communication performance threshold and determines whether the communication performance measurement falls outside of the communication performance threshold. The network element generates a trigger associated with the communication performance measurement and the communication performance threshold when it is determined that the communication performance measurement falls outside of the communication performance threshold. The network element retrieves a registered handler associated with the generated trigger to indicate that the registered handler requires execution in response to the generated trigger and executes the registered handler.

摘要: A series motor with commutator is disclosed which is especially suited as universal motor for a braked power tool. The series motor comprises a switch for switching between a motor mode and a braking mode, wherein, in motor mode, at least one field winding is connected in series with an armature winding in a motor circuit, which is connected to an a.c. power source, and wherein, in braking mode, the at least one field winding and the armature winding form together a closed braking circuit disconnected from the power source. The secondary winding of a mains-operated transformer is connected within the braking circuit. This arrangement guarantees improved safety of the braking action.
