    Abstract: A phase tracking reference signal (PTRS) transmission method and apparatus are provided, to improve demodulation performance.     Abstract: This application provides a method for determining a time of applying media access control MAC signaling and an apparatus, and relates to the field of communication technologies, to determine the time of applying the MAC signaling when DCI indicates that a terminal device delays feedback of a HARQ-ACK. In the method, the terminal device receives the MAC signaling. The terminal device receives first indication information, where the first indication information includes a first value for the terminal device to send the HARQ-ACK. The first value indicates whether the terminal device delays feedback of the HARQ-ACK. The terminal device determines the time of applying the MAC signaling. Based on the method, understandings of a network device and the terminal device on the time of applying the MAC signaling can be aligned, thereby improving communication performance.

    Abstract: This application provides a terminal apparatus and method for discontinuous reception (DRX) in an unlicensed band, and may be applied to a scenario in which a terminal device performs communication through a sidelink or a Uu link. A signal receive end monitors a sidelink signal and/or a downlink signal on a grant-free resource configured by a network device, and switches between a non-DRX mode and a DRX mode when a corresponding preset condition is met. Alternatively, a transmit end directly indicates a receive end to use a DRX mode or a non-DRX mode, or indirectly indicates, with assistance of a network device, a receive end to use a DRX mode or a non-DRX mode. In this way, DRX of the receive end can be implemented in a sidelink unlicensed band or a Uu link unlicensed band. This reduces power consumption of the receive end.

A sending station generates and sends a physical protocol data unit PPDU, the PPDU includes a preamble field and a data field, a high efficiency signal field HE-SIG-A of the preamble field includes a bandwidth identifier and a channel bonding identifier, and the channel bonding identifier is used to indicate whether a data transmission channel is continuous in a frequency domain. In the foregoing manner, a discontinuous channel in a frequency domain in a wireless local area network is indicated, an available channel for data transmission is improved, and a system throughput is increased.
