摘要: A plasma color screen fitted with a carrier plate, a transparent front plate, a ribbed structure dividing the space between the carrier plate and the front plate into discharge cells filled with a gas, with one or more electrode arrays on the front plate and on the carrier plate to generate corona discharges in the discharge cells and with a segmented phosphor layer, which plasma color screen comprises a pixel matrix array in which are grouped discharge cells for red, green and blue to form a pixel, where each pixel comprises a discharge cell for blue which is common to two adjacent pixels.

摘要: A plasma display panel having a structured black matrix (8) which is coated with a reflecting layer (9) on the side turned away from the viewer. Visible light incident from outside is absorbed by the black matrix (8) and light incident from inside is reflected by the reflecting layer (9). This enhances the LCP value of the whole plasma screen. A protective layer (5) such as MgO is deposited on the black matrix and reflecting layer and so formed over the black matrix and said reflecting layer so as to reduce undesired reactions of the black matrix and the reflecting layer with the dielectric layer, such as during high temperature conditions during manufacture.

摘要: An illumination device includes an active layer, such as a blue LED, covered with a first luminescent ceramic converter layer and partially covered with a second luminescent ceramic converter layer. The first and second conversion layers convert primary photons emitted by the active layer into photons of different, longer wavelengths. The color point of the illumination device can be adjusted by adjusting the relative size of the second conversion layer.

The organic electroluminescent layer has regions that emit blue light and/or green light, and at least one phosphor layer that is arranged in the beam path of the light leaving the organic electroluminescent light source and that partly covers the electroluminescent layer.
