A control device calculates an aimed winding angle of the steel sheet to the anti-crimping roll capable of avoiding occurrence of crimps based on a thickness and a width of the steel sheet, and drives the cylinder and the vehicle such that the calculated angle is aligned with an actual wind-up angle calculated from the stroke amount of the piston, moving amount of the vehicle to adjust the position of the anti-crimping roll. Since the position of the anti-crimping roll is automatically controlled depending, for example, on the change of the coil diameter during coiling, occurrence of crimps can be avoided easily without imposing burdens on an operator.
