Abstract:
Embodiments provide a waking-up system made up of an access point (AP) device, a terminal device and a wakeup server. The wakeup server comprises a receiving unit, configured to receive an AP activation request sent by the terminal device, where the AP activation request includes an identity of the terminal device. Also included a determining unit, configured to determine a target AP device according to the AP activation request. Also included is an acquiring unit, configured to acquire a status of the target AP device, and a sending unit, configured to send a wakeup request to the target AP device, wherein the sending unit is further configured to send a first AP activation success response to the terminal device.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to the communications field, and disclose an AC, a STA, an AP, and a control method to solve a problem that a STA located in a coverage hole area of a Wi-Fi network cannot access the Wi-Fi network. A specific solution is: a receiving unit receives an access request message sent by a STA; a determining unit determines, sleeping APs managed by the AC and having access ranges covering the STA as first candidate APs; an allocation unit allocates the first candidate AP to the STA as a target AP; and a sending unit sends a wake-up control message to the target AP, and sends an access permission message to the STA. The present invention is used in a control process.
Abstract:
Relating to the field of communications technologies, an embodiment of the present invention discloses an 802.11 network-based CSI obtaining method and apparatus, so as to provide a CSI obtaining mechanism that addresses a positioning requirement, to improve accuracy of a terminal positioning process by providing more comprehensive CSI for a terminal. An embodiment of the present invention is applicable to a CSI collecting process.
Abstract:
A positioning system, method, and apparatus relate to the communications field in order to improve positioning precision. The system includes a preset anchor set, a positioning server, and at least one positioning terminal. A distance between the at least one positioning terminal and a to-be-positioned terminal falls within a preset range. The at least one positioning terminal is configured to receive an instruction message, and execute a positioning packet interaction procedure with at least one anchor in the preset anchor set according to the instruction message. The interaction procedure enables the positioning terminal or the anchor executing the interaction procedure to obtain positioning support information. The positioning server is configured to receive the positioning support information, and position the to-be-positioned terminal according to the positioning support information.
Abstract:
A method for selecting a wireless access point (AP) relates to the field of communications technologies, and to a fine time measurement (FTM) technology in a wireless network, where after receiving a query request carrying a query condition, a server determines a target AP according to stored service capability information of each of multiple APs that support an FTM mechanism and the query condition, and sends a media access control (MAC) address of the target AP and information about a frequency band and a channel used by the target AP to a terminal.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and apparatus for receiving fragments as well as a method and apparatus for transmitting fragments. The method for receiving fragments includes: receiving a group of fragments from a transmitter through a first channel, where the transmitter suspend transmitting a next group of fragments after the group of fragments is transmitted; and transmitting one or a plurality of first acknowledgement messages to the transmitter through the first channel immediately after the group of fragments are received. According to embodiments of the present invention, the acknowledgement messages may be immediately transmitted to the transmitter through a current channel after one group of fragments are received through the current channel, thereby avoiding the delay of a fragment receiving and transmitting process, which is caused by the competition and occupation of the channel by other nodes, and thus improving transmission efficiency.
