Abstract:
A device is disclosed for the automatic remote control and locking of a trunk lid or hatchback 1 connected by a hinge to the upper part of an automobile body around a transverse axis 2 and balanced by a stabilizing device. The hatchback 1 may be controlled by means of a rod 12 which is connected at one end to the hatchback and at the other end to a point of a first cogged sector 17 which is caused to rotate, along a predetermined path, by a remote-controlled electric motor 11. The hatchback may, in addition, be automatically locked after folding back onto the body portion of the trunk 3 by mechanical means 13, 18, 31 brought into play by the electric motor once the rod and first sector have stopped working.
Abstract:
A gearmotor for the alternate drive of two operations has a housing which receives a drive pinion, mounted on the output shaft of the reduction gear. The drive pinion is able to engage alternately with a first rack cable A and a second rack cable B, both mounted parallel in a sliding guide that can move in the housing in a plane perpendicular to the shaft of the drive pinion between two end positions in each of which one of the two cables is engaged with the drive pinion while the other cable is in a disengaged position. A device is provided for actuating the sliding guide. Application is particularly for electrical equipment of a motor vehicle side door.
Abstract:
A device for electrical opening and closing of a motor lid, such as a trunk lid, equipped with a lock of the cocking type includes a case in which a latch and a locking lever are mounted to pivot. The locking of the lock is done mechanically during the closing of the lid and is extended by a complete electrical closing of the lid as a result of a gearmotor which assures the axial sliding of the case inside a sleeve. The partial electrical opening is obtained by rotation in a reverse direction of the gearmotor, which causes the axial exiting of the case outside of the sleeve together with the automatic unlocking of the cocking lock.
Abstract:
A locking device for a pivoting window includes a link which is completely embeddable inside the body of the lock mounted on a frame and a strap affixed to the window, the link being set in motion by a combination of sliding and pivoting movements transmitted from the translation motion of an operating knob, parallel to the body of the lock and obtained with pawns attached to the link evolving inside knob-holes of the strap and the body of the lock. This low-crowding device enables locking of the window with constant compression of the watertightness joint of the window.
Abstract:
An articulation device for a hatchback mounted pivoting on a motor vehicle via a swivel rod. A structure is provided for automatically controlling the hatchback pivoting movement by a pivoting movement of a first end of a rod relative to the vehicle body structure. The hatchback pivoting direction, relative to the second end of the rod, is reversed during the first end of the rod pivoting movement between two extreme angular positions associated with extreme closed and opened positions of the hatchback.
Abstract:
This invention has as its object an infrared emitter. The case of a remote control device has a cover (14) doubly hinged around an axis (X--X) around which it can swivel to carry out the push button function that makes possible the activation of an infrared emitter in the case. The case is also hinged around a movable second axis of articulation (Y--Y) around which it is made to rotate when it is desired to replace the direct current power source (18) which is attached to the cover (14). The locking and unlocking means for the opening of the case by swivelling of the cover (14) around the second axis of articulation (Y--Y) consists of the hinge pin (50) of the hinge (42) that defines the first axis of articulation (X--X) of the cover.
Abstract:
A key carrier includes an electromagnetic wave transmitter and a key. The key is pivotally mounted within a drum rotatably mounted in the key case. When the drum is rotated so that an opening of the drum is in alignment with an opening of the case, a spring mounted between the key and the drum biases the key out of the case. When the drum is rotated so that the openings are out of alignment, a stop surface of the case retains the key within the drum. A second spring is provided for biasing the drum such that the openings are out of alignment. A manual control wheel is provided for rotating the drum so that the openings are in alignment, so that the key can be extracted from case.
Abstract:
Electric locks of the armed type comprise a movable bolt assembly actuated by various levers, powered by a motorized reduction gear assembly and capable of hooking a keeper mounted on a stationary part of the body. The bolt assembly comprises a locking lever of a keeper and a blocking lever of the locking lever, both biased in the hooked position by a common spring. A rotating control body controls the preceding levers, and rotates successively in the opening direction and in the reverse closing direction while being powered by a motorized reduction assembly in response to the impulses of electric current.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a lock for the hinged lid, panel or bonnet of a motor vehicle. Said lock comprises a locking hook pivoted to a support by means of a pivot pin, and a keeper coacting with said hook, said hook being urged to its open or release position by a torsion spring interposed between said hook and said support, and means for locking said hook in its closing or locking position in relation to said keeper, said locking means comprising on the one hand said spring reacting against said support by means of an arm having a certain freedom of movement as far as the distance between said arm and the hook axis is concerned, and on the other hand manual control means coacting with said spring arm for varying said distance between said arm and said hook axis, whereby said spring arm will coact according to its distance from said axis with either a stop member for locking said hook in its locking or closing position, or another stop member for retaining said hook in its opening or release position.
