摘要: A terminal fitting (1) has connecting portion (5) with an engaging portion (14) to be engaged with a resin lock (13) of a connector (3). The engaging portion (14) projects with a step from an upper wall (12) to ensure a large engaging area with the resin lock (13). An outer edge (14A) of the engaging portion (14) is closer to the resin lock (13) than an inner edge (14B) thereof. Thus, when the terminal fitting (1) is pulled back in withdrawing direction, a force acts to move the leading end of the resin lock (13) from the outer edge (14A) of the engaging portion (14) toward the inner edge (14B). Therefore, the terminal fitting (1) is difficult to disengage from the resin lock (13), and a large engaging force is secured.

摘要: An insulation-displacement terminal has opposed side walls (12) and a wire-receiving space therebetween. V-shaped insulation-displacement portions (16) are formed by a pair of plates (16F, 16R) that are bent from the side walls (12) and project into the wire-receiving space. A bending angle (&bgr;) between one plate (16R) and the side wall (12) is larger than a bending angle (&agr;) between the other plate (16F) and the side wall (12). A pulling force on the wire (W) does not make a loose movement since the bending angle of the plate (16F) located at the side behind with respect to a pulling direction is a right angle. Further, since the bending angle (&bgr;) between the plate (16R) and the side wall 12 is larger, an angle (&ggr;) between the plates (16F) and (16R) of the insulation-displacement portion (16) is sufficiently large to ensure a wide contact area with a core (Wb) of the wire (W). Thus, a high contact reliability can be secured.

摘要: A connector has opposed side walls (12) with a wire-receiving space therebetween. Insulation displacement portions (17) are cantilevered from the side walls (12) by cutting portions of the side walls (12) and bending the cut portions into the wire-receiving space. Bent portions (17A) are formed by bending free ends (17B) of the insulation-displacement portions (17) back toward the respective side wall (12).

摘要: An insulation-displacement terminal fitting (10) has plate-shaped blades (27) disposed before V-shaped contact portions (23) along a wire-insertion direction. The blades (27) make cuts (C) in an insulation coating (Wb) of a wire (W). The insulation coating (Wb) then is cut open by the V-shaped contact portions (23). A cut-open piece (Wc) of the insulation coating (Wb) that is caught by the contact portions (23) is not forcibly stretched. Thus, a core (Wa) is not pulled in a direction to be withdrawn from a clearance between the contact portions (23). An accommodation space (30) in which the caught cut-open piece (Wc) of the insulation coating (Wb) is accommodated is located within a height range of side walls (21). Thus, the cut-open piece (Wc) of the insulation coating (Wb) does not project above the side walls (21).

摘要: A female terminal fitting (20) has a main portion (21) that can be inserted into a cavity. An engaging portion (50) for engaging a lock (17) in the cavity is folded back from the front of the main portion (21). The fold (55) is rounded and contacts the lock (17) when the terminal fitting (20) is inserted into a cavity. Thus, resistance to insertion is low. The engaging portion (50) is distanced from an opposed surface (25) of the main portion (21) by an embossment (51). Thus, a large area of engagement with the lock (17) exists. A slanted surface (53) is formed at a corner of a locking surface (52) closer to the ceiling plate (25). Thus, the leading end of the lock (17) intrudes at the inner side of the slanted surface (53) to prevent the lock (17) from escaping.

摘要: An information reproduction apparatus which can perform repetitive reproduction is provided. In the apparatus, Information read from an information recording medium is decoded by the plurality of decoding devices. Then a source of an output of the information reproduction apparatus is switched among outputs of a plurality of the decoding devices. If a start position to start repetitive reproduction is designated, another decoding device except one decoding device whose output is currently switched as the source is controlled so as to be able to begin to decode the information on and after the start position. Then if a start instruction is provided, the source is switched from the output of the one decoding device to the output of the another device. Further, the another decoding device is controlled to decode the information on and after the start position, and the one decoding device is controlled to be able to begin to decode the information on and after the start position.

摘要: A terminal fitting (20) is formed with a jig contact portions (24) with which a pushing jig (30) is to be brought to contact. The jig contact portion (24) are provided with a loose movement restricting function for restricting a loose movement of the terminal fitting (20) in a cavity (11) in a direction intersecting with an inserting direction of the terminal fitting (20) by coming into contact with a ceiling wall (11A) of the cavity (11). Since the jig contact portions (24) also have the loose movement restricting function, it is not necessary to form a loose movement-restricting portion separately from the jig contact portion (24). This enables an avoidance of a complicated shape and an enlarged size of the entire terminal fitting (20).

摘要: For testing of a device under test, an AC measurement voltable application circuit is provided wherein voltages to be applied to the device can be switched during measurement operation without using a separate circuit for a high voltage generation. Data for voltages to be applied to the device are written in respective addresses of a memory in a pattern synchronizing control circuit. This pattern synchronizing control circuit is synchronized with a signal generator and, by inputting mode register setting signal depending on whether the measurement is AC or DC measurement, a relay control circuit for a pin driver circuit is controlled and the application value data in the memory are inputted into a DC measurement unit so as to apply a voltage to the device.
