Local hot spots are minimized which allows the semiconductor chip to operate at a higher frequency for a given upper threshold temperature. Also shown is a method of manufacturing such a semiconductor chip, and the associated method of cooling a semiconductor chip.

摘要： A method is provided for detecting a fault condition in a hydraulic brake system of a vehicle having a first hydraulic brake circuit and a second hydraulic brake circuit. A correlation ratio is determined between a measured pressure and the actual vehicle acceleration. A first wheel velocity differential is determined and a second wheel velocity differential is determined. A weighting value is selected in response to determining whether the correlation ratio is within the predetermined range and whether the first wheel velocity differential and the second wheel velocity differential are opposite signs. The selected weighting value is added to a fault counter. A determination is made whether the fault counter is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold. A fault condition is detected in response to the fault counter greater than or equal to the first predetermined threshold.

摘要： Some embodiments provide a microdisplay integrated circuit (IC), a substantially transparent protective cover coupled to the microdisplay IC, and a base coupled to the microdisplay IC. Thermal expansion characteristics of the base may be substantially similar to thermal expansion characteristics of the protective cover. According to some embodiments, at least one set of imaging elements is fabricated on an upper surface of a semiconductor substrate, and a base is affixed to a lower surface of the semiconductor substrate to generate substantially negligible mechanical stress between the semiconductor substrate and the base.

摘要： Embodiments of a uniformly porous membrane covering an endoprosthetic device, for example, a stent used to treat an aneurysm, are described. Some embodiments have a pore size and spacing that provides a material ratio of between 70-80% in the deployed state. Material ratio is the proportion of the total porous segment of the membrane that corresponds to membrane material, the remainder being pores. In some embodiments, pore size ranges from about 10-100 μm. In some embodiments, pores are equidistantly spaced with pore spacing in a range of about 40-100 μm. The combination of pore size and spacing are effective to provide a membrane that substantially prevents flow to the aneurysm, while maintaining flow to perforator vessels. In some embodiments the membrane includes permanently attached agents that promote attachment of endothelial cells or progenitors and healing of the aneurysm, or reduce immune responses detrimental to the healing process.
