摘要: A child station (3) of a communication system performs communication while synchronizing the reference time of a parent station (2) with the local time (RT) of the child station (3). When the child station (3) is switched from a normal mode to a power saving mode in accordance with a mode change instruction from the parent station (2), correction is performed for one or both of a stop period in which the apparatus of the child station (3) is stopped and a non-stop period in the power saving mode using an error (Δt) generated during the time between the reference time of the parent station (2) and the local time (RT) of the child station (3). This makes it possible to synchronize the parent station (2) with the child station (3) and reliably and efficiently transfer a control frame (CF) from the parent station (2) to the child station (3).

摘要: Systems, methods, and programs input a current drive condition of a vehicle at a predetermined location before a predetermined temporary stop position, determine whether there is a possibility that the vehicle will not be able to safely stop at the temporary stop position based on the input current drive condition, and execute a wake-up call to a driver if it is determined that there is a possibility that the vehicle will not be able to stop safely at the temporary stop position. The systems, methods, and programs calculate a wake-up call ratio as a ratio of the total number of wake-up calls executed to the total number of temporary stop positions passed, and then acquire evaluation information based on the calculated wake-up call ratio.

摘要: A shift lever position determining unit (11b1) determines whether a shift lever position of a vehicle (1a) satisfies predetermined conditions. If the shift lever position is determined to satisfy the predetermined conditions, a travel distance adding-up unit (11c) adds up an optimum shift lever position travel distance. If the shift lever position is determined not to satisfy the predetermined conditions, the travel distance adding-up unit (11c) adds up an inappropriate shift lever position travel distance. A fuel-saving driving rating unit (12) rates driving by a driver based on each added-up value added up by the travel distance adding-up unit (11c). A fuel-saving driving advice generating unit (13) notifies the driver of fuel-saving driving advice together with a rating result in accordance with the rating result. Therefore, it is possible to encourage the driver to select an optimum shift lever position with high fuel efficiency and thereby to improve the driver's knowledge and awareness of the fuel-saving driving.

摘要: An electromagnetic exciter that enables thickness reduction has a casing, a stator having an electromagnet and fixed in the casing, an oscillator having a permanent magnet, and an elastic support member that positions the oscillator in horizontally-opposed relation to the stator at a distance between them and that supports the oscillator oscillatably in a direction parallel to the stator. The elastic support member has a fixed portion fixed to the casing and a pair of arms extending from the fixed portion toward the stator along side surfaces of the oscillator to support the oscillator oscillatably. The oscillator is oscillated by an alternating magnetic field generated by application of an alternating voltage to the electromagnet of the stator.

摘要: A vibrator includes a voice coil and a vibrating member that vibrates along the axial direction of the voice coil when it is excited by application of an alternating current thereto. A suspension supports the vibrating member vibratably in the axial direction. A casing houses the voice coil, the vibrating member, and the suspension. A buffering member is provided so that the vibrating member strikes the buffering member when the vibration amplitude of the vibrating member has exceeded a predetermined value in a resonance region around the resonance point of the vibrating member.

摘要: An electromagnetic exciter includes a magnetic circuit device composed of an outer yoke, a flat magnet arranged within the outer yoke, and an inner yoke mounted on the magnet, and a casing within which the magnetic circuit device is contained. The casing has a flat plate and a cylindrical wall. A magnetic gap is defined between the side wall of the outer yoke and the outer peripheral wall of the inner yoke. A voice coil is secured to the flat plate of the casing and inserted into the magnetic gap. A suspension extends between the cylindrical wall of the casing and the magnetic circuit device so that the magnetic circuit device is supported by the casing. An annular weight is secured around the outer yoke. The suspension has openings. The weight has projections loosely fitted within the openings.
