Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for sidelink wireless communications are described in which a user equipment (UE), such as a vehicle UE, that supports full-duplex communications may transmit a sidelink control channel during a set of time resources including scheduling information for a subsequent transmission by the UE via a first set of resources. The UE may receive a sidelink control channel during the set of time resources from a second UE that may support full-duplex communications or half-duplex communications. The sidelink control channel may include scheduling information for a subsequent transmission via a second set of time-frequency resources that at least partially overlaps with the first set of time-frequency resources. The first UE may determine that a collision will occur and may perform a resource selection procedure or may transmit a request for the second device to perform the resource selection procedure.

Abstract: In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may be a pedestrian user equipment (PUE). The apparatus may be configured to monitor a first set of resources to detect a paging indicator indicating a paging message is carried on a second set of resources allocated for vehicle-to-pedestrian (V2P) communication consecutive to the first set of resources; to decode information on the second set of resources to detect the paging message from a second UE when the paging indicator is detected, the paging message being associated with the V2P communication; and to refrain from decoding the information on the second set of resources when the paging indicator is undetected.

Abstract: In various embodiments supporting directional security, a user equipment (UE) may receive from a network device a noise resource allocation including an indication of a noise direction and a noise parameter, generate a noise signal based at least in part on the noise parameter, and transmit the noise signal in the noise direction while transmitting a communication transmission signal in a different direction from the noise direction. In various embodiments, a network device may determine a geographic zone of interest, select one or more reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs) associated with the geographic zone of interest, selecting one or more noise transmitting UEs, control the one or more noise transmitting UEs to transmit at least one noise signal, and control the one or more RISs to steer the at least one noise signal into the geographic zone of interest.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, devices, apparatus, and methods, including computer programs encoded on storage media, for sidelink resource selection with AD usage awareness. A UE may receive, from one or more ANs, one or more resource usage schedules associated with one or more ADs in communication with the one or more ANs. The UE may combine the one or more resource usage schedules associated with the one or more ADs into a combined resource usage schedule. The usages may be associated with the combined resource usage schedule, which may be indicative of excluded resources for a transmission of the UE. The UE may transmit, based on the combined resource usage schedule, the transmission of the UE on a resource other than the excluded resources.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described to support security techniques for ranging in wireless networks. A first device may transmit an indication to initiate a ranging procedure with a second device, and in response to the indication, the second device may transmit signaling to the first device and to one or more third devices. The first device and the one or more third devices may each determine a respective location metric associated with the second device based on the signaling. The one or more third devices may each transmit, to the first device, the respective location metric. Based on the communicated location metric(s), the first device may determine whether an eavesdropper is present and may communicate with the second device based on the determination.

A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a plurality of component carriers of a sidelink channel and a plurality of feedback channel configurations for the plurality of component carriers. The UE may select, based at least in part on the plurality of feedback channel configurations, a subset of the plurality of component carriers for transmission of a first sidelink message and a second sidelink message using a feedback channel alignment rule indicating to select component carriers having feedback channels aligned in time for at least a subset of a plurality of transmission time intervals. The UE may transmit the first sidelink message on a first component carrier of the subset and the second sidelink message on a second component carrier of the subset.
