Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to wireless communications, and more particularly, to techniques for a UE to determine whether to maintain or remove a radio frequency (RF) path from a set of candidate paths considered for transmit antenna switch diversity (ASDIV). The determination allows the UE to avoid signal loss or degradation in coexisting networks at similar frequency ranges. For example, ASDIV allows two or more antennas to form different input and output ports to establish different RF paths. Coexistent networks, such as wireless wide-area-network (WWAN) and wireless local-area-network (WLAN) may utilize different RF paths to optimize reliability and efficiency. The overlapping of the bands may cause signal attenuation or degradation from at least one of the networks. The present disclosure provides techniques for detecting signal attenuation at least partially caused by overlapping bands and removing an associated RF path to avoid such signal loss or attenuation.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described that support subscriber identification module (SIM) prioritization based on service priority and quality of service (QoS) parameters. A user equipment (UE) may identify a set of available RF components for communications at the UE that may be shared between a first SIM and a second SIM. The UE may identify multiple resource partitions of the set of available RF components, each resource partition providing resources for contemporaneous communications of both the first SIM and the second SIM. The UE may select one of the resource partitions for the contemporaneous communications based on service level priorities associated with each SIM and which resource partition provides sufficient RF resources to satisfy the QoS parameters associated a highest service level priority of the multiple SIMS.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify at least one collision between a periodic reporting of channel state information associated with a first radio access technology (RAT) and a periodic reference signal transmission associated with a second RAT, wherein each reference signal transmission of the periodic reference signal transmission is sequentially transmitted via a plurality of antennas based at least in part on a first antenna order. The UE may determine a second antenna order for the periodic reference signal transmission that resolves the at least one collision. The UE may transmit the periodic reference signal transmission using the second antenna order. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: A method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE). The apparatus determines that a first subscriber identity module (SIM) and a second SIM of the UE share a cross switch and determines whether to modify concurrent operation of the first SIM or the second SIM based, at least in part, on a determination that the first SIM and the second SIM of the UE share the cross-switch. The concurrent operation of the first SIM and the second SIM may include the first SIM performing SRS antenna switching and the second SIM performing an idle mode activity.
