    Abstract: A method for initiating a mobile device action based on a user-defined sequence of events includes maintaining, at the mobile device, data representative of the user-defined sequence of events. The user-defined sequence of events is associated with an action to be performed by the mobile device. The user-defined sequence of events comprises multiple events and a particular order of occurrence of the multiple events in order to trigger the associated action. The method also includes detecting, at the mobile device, a second sequence of events and comparing the second sequence of events to the user-defined sequence of events. The action associated with the user-defined sequence of events is performed in response to the second sequence of events matching the user-defined sequence of events.

    Abstract: If a user is using a second device and wants to manage and/or perform certain operations of the user device, the user may experience inconvenience from shifting the user's attention to the user device. Therefore, an intelligent approach to enable the user to manage and/or perform an operation of the user device on the second device. According to an aspect of the disclosure. the apparatus may be a user device for managing a device operation. The user device determines user activity context information associated with a plurality of devices, the plurality of devices including the user device and at least one second user device. The user device selects at least one device from the plurality of devices based on the user activity context information. The user device forwards an operation of the user device to the selected at least one device to perform the operation at the selected at least one device.

    Abstract: An example of a method of operating a mobile device includes obtaining positioning signal timing information that indicates a plurality of times when the mobile device will receive positioning signals from one or more base stations associated with a first subscription to a first wireless network; obtaining tune-away information that indicates when a first receiver of the mobile device is scheduled to tune away from the first subscription to receive signals using a second subscription to a second wireless network; and implementing a collision-reduction measure in response to an expected number of collisions meeting a criterion. The expected number of collisions is a number of instances that positioning signals are expected not to be received by the mobile device based on the positioning signal timing information and the tune-away information.

    Abstract: A wireless access point enables or rejects a wireless connection request from a mobile device based on a round trip time (RTT) measurement and an angle of arrival (AoA) measurement for signals from the mobile device. After receiving a wireless connection request from the mobile device, the wireless access point obtains the RTT and the AoA measurements for the mobile device. The wireless access point determines if the RTT and the AoA measurements for the mobile device are within predefined RTT and AoA ranges that define a physical boundary with respect to the wireless access point. The wireless connection is accepted if the RTT and AOA measurements are within the predefined RTT and AoA ranges and are otherwise rejected. If desired, a plurality of physical boundaries may be used, each with different predefined RTT and AoA ranges, and each physical boundary may have a different predefined time limit range.
