Abstract: A pane has an electrical connection element and connection cable including a substrate, an electrically conductive structure on a region of the substrate, wherein the connection cable has, on its lower face facing the substrate, a contact region, in which a conductor track of the connection cable is connected to the region of the electrically conductive structure, the connection element is rigid and has a first flat region for contacting the connection cable, the connection element with the conductor track of the connection cable on an upper face of the connection cable facing away from the substrate is electrically conductively connected to the connection cable via a weld region, the contact region of the connection cable and the first flat region of the connection element are arranged one above the other such that the flat region of the connection element is provided for transferring heat to the soldering compound.

Abstract: A vehicle window has a plurality of integrated electro-optical elements, wherein the electro-optical elements have a common supply voltage, wherein the integrated electro-optical elements are controllable individually or in groups such that the electro-optical elements change the optical properties of the window at the respective location, wherein a first logical interface for feeding in the common supply voltage and a second logical interface for feeding in a common control signal are provided for controlling the electro-optical elements and for providing the common supply voltage, wherein, downstream from the logical interface, the control signal is converted into control signals for the control of the integrated electro-optical elements individually or in groups, wherein the physical interface is arranged on one of the outer faces of the window, wherein the physical interface for the first logical interface and the second logical interface has, together, 3 or 4 electrical connections.

Abstract: A device for fastening and electrical contacting of a vehicle window pane with an integrated electrical functional element. The device includes a pane adapter fixed on the window pane; a pane holder that couples the pane adapter with a vehicle body; a pane-side plug that establishes electrical contact with the functional element when the window pane is assembled; and a pane-side coupling shoe for mounting the pane-side plug on the window pane. The device further includes a mating plug that couples with the pane-side plug to provide electrical contact of the functional element to a control unit. The pane adapter, the pane-side coupling shoe, the pane holder, and a plug holder that supports the mating plug, are kinematically coupled so that during assembly of the window pane using the pane adapter on the pane holder, the pane-side plug is connected to the mating plug.

Abstract: A heatable laminated side pane for an openable side window of a vehicle is described. The side pane has an upper edge, a lower edge, a front edge, and a rear edge. The side pane also includes an outer pane and an inner pane, which are bonded to one another via a thermoplastic intermediate layer. The side pane also has at least one heating wire embedded in the intermediate layer. The heating wire runs between a first busbar and a second busbar and is electrically connected to the busbars, which are arranged along the front edge or the rear edge.
