    Abstract: A cell detection device and a cell detection method is provided with which it is possible to efficiently acquire images of cells to be measured. Cell detection device comprises flow cell through which a measurement specimen that contains particles is caused to flow, particle detector for detecting the particles in the measurement specimen supplied to flow cell, particle sorter for sorting particles that satisfy a detection condition and other particles on the basis of the result of detection performed by particle detector, specimen supply part for supplying, to flow cell, an image-capture specimen that includes detection-condition-satisfying particles that have been sorted by particle sorter, and particle-image-capture part for capturing images of the particles in the sorted image-capture specimen supplied to flow cell.

    Abstract: A blood cell analyzer comprises a flow cell configured to flow a measurement specimen containing blood cells, a first light source configured to emit light having a first wavelength, a second light source configured to emit light having a second wavelength different from the first wavelength, a first light receiving portion configured to receive first scattered light obtained by irradiating the blood cells passing through the flow cell with light from the first light source, a second light receiving portion configured to receive second scattered light obtained by irradiating the blood cells passing through the flow cell with light from the second light source, and a control section configured to discriminate at least red blood cells from the blood cells contained in the measurement specimen based on detection signals output from the first light receiving portion and the second light receiving portion, respectively.

    Abstract: A particle imaging apparatus comprises a flow path comprising a first flow path section, a second flow path section connected downstream of the first flow path section, and a third flow path section that is branched from the first flow path section, a particle detection unit comprising a light source and a light detector, a particle sorting unit configured to adjust a flow direction of the particle, and a particle imaging unit configured to take an image of a particle that flows in the second flow path section.     Abstract: A particle analyzer comprises a light source, a flow cell, an irradiating optical system, and a light receiving optical system. The light receiving optical system comprises a light focusing lens system which includes a light focusing lens configured to focus forward scattered light from the particles, a light receiving member configured to receive the forward scattered light, and a beam stopper. The beam stopper is provided in the light path between the light focusing lens system and the light receiving member. The light focusing lens has an aspheric lens form. The light focusing lens system is configured such that the focal distance of the forward scattered light through the central area which includes the optical axis is longer than the focal distance of the forward scattered light through the peripheral area outside the central area.
