摘要： A device control apparatus acquires information on the environment surrounding devices from an environment acquisition sensor. The device control apparatus determines, on the basis of the acquired environment information, whether the devices can be remotely controlled safely. When remote operation instruction data is received from a terminal apparatus via an external network (N2), the device control apparatus generates a control signal for controlling devices to be operated and transmits the generated control signal to such devices via an in-house network only in a case where it is determined that such devices can be remotely controlled safely.

摘要： A device load consumes power supplied from an AC power supply. A bypass circuit is provided in parallel with the device load. A controller controls current flowing through the bypass circuit so that an identification signal indicating information for identifying an electric device is superimposed on current flowing from the AC power supply to the electric device. A power measurement sensor detects the current flowing from the AC power supply to the electric device. A control device identifies the electric device based on the identification signal superimposed on the current detected by the power measurement sensor.

摘要： An acceleration sensor detects an acceleration. A timer measures elapsed time. A calculation means calculates jerk J of a remote controller on the basis of an acceleration detected by the acceleration sensor. A factor determination means determines whether a user is holding the remote controller in his/her hand on the basis of the change of the jerk J that is obtained from an index value calculated by the calculation means and an amount of time measured by the timer. A sleep control means turns on display of a display if the factor determination means determines that the user is holding the remote controller in his/her hand.
