摘要: A DMA controller operates independently from a CPU, reads image data stored on an ROM sequentially in given units from the first reading start position of the image data and writes the image data into a buffer. A DMA controller operates independently from the CPU, writes the data read into the buffer to a VRAM one byte at a time from the writing start position. The controller of a companion chip updates the writing start position in the VRAM to the position of the same column in the next row each time writing the data string in each row is completed.

摘要: An air-conditioning system comprises portable devices including measurement units that measure temperature or humidity. In addition, the air-conditioning system comprises a transmitter mounted in indoor equipment that transmits light or electromagnetic waves to the portable devices, and a receiver mounted in the indoor equipment that receives detected intensity information expressing the intensity of the light or the electromagnetic waves detected by the portable devices. Furthermore, the air-conditioning system comprises a detector that detects the distance from the indoor equipment to the portable devices based on the detected intensity expressed by the detected intensity information, and a controller that controls the air-blowing state of the indoor equipment based on the detected distances and the measured temperature or humidity. Thus, the temperature or the humidity at a specified location can be adjusted more accurately.

摘要: A DMA controller comprises a reading start address register storing a reading start address from which reading starts; a reading data size register storing the size of data to be read in a single reading operation; an offset value register storing an offset value for updating the reading start address after the reading operation ends; a repetition upper limit value register storing the upper limit value of the number of times of repetition of the reading operation; and a repetition counter register storing the number of times of repetition of the reading operation. The controller of the DMA controller outputs an interrupt signal indicating that the processing of the DMA controller ends when the value stored in the repetition counter register reaches the value stored in the repetition upper limit value register.

摘要: To obtain a method of positioning a wireless terminal capable of obtaining the position of each communication terminal by measuring distances with installed communication terminals each other without fixedly installing a base station.A positioning management terminal 100 includes a positioning object decision section 130 that selects a terminal to be positioned, which is a positioning object, and a positioning standard terminal, whose position is known, among the wireless terminals 200; a positioning management section 120 that requires distance information between the terminal to be positioned and the positioning standard terminal; and a position calculation section 140 that calculates the position of the terminal to be positioned. The positioning management section 120 requires distance information from the positioning standard terminal selected by the positioning object decision section 130 to the terminal to be positioned selected by the positioning object decision section 130. The position calculation section 140 calculates the position of the terminal to be positioned using the distance information and position information of the positioning standard terminal.
