The program has a first and a second program portion. The first program portion includes primary data, relating to shape properties of a graphics object. The second program portion is to be executed after the first program portion when user input complies with a predetermined condition specified in the program. The second program portion specifies a visual feedback in response to the user input and includes secondary data, relating to at least an additional visual property of the graphics object.

摘要： A device for processing video information has an input unit (112) for receiving the video information having low dynamic range [LDR] video data and/or high dynamic range [HDR] video data, and a video processor (113) for generating a display signal for display in a LDR display mode or HDR display mode. Graphics data is processed for generating an overlay for overlaying the video data. The input unit receives graphics processing control data comprised in the video information, the graphics processing control data including at least one HDR processing instruction for overlaying the graphics data in the HDR display mode. The video processor is constituted for adapting the processing when overlaying the graphics data in dependence on the specific display mode and the HDR processing instruction. Advantageously the source of the video information is enabled to control the processing of graphics in HDR display mode via the HDR processing instruction.

摘要： The present invention provides a method and apparatus for playing an optical disc, and an optical disc recording apparatus. According to the method provided by the present invention, the description information of the program content and the description information of the enhancement content are first acquired, and then compared with each other; then it is judged whether the program corresponds to the enhancement content according to the result of the comparison; and finally, the program content is played independently of the enhancement content if the program content does not correspond to the enhancement content. With the present invention, the playback problem causing from the non-match of the program content and the enhancement content in an optical disc with the enhancement format resulting from the revision of the optical disc by a conventional optical disc recording apparatus that does not support the enhancement format can be avoided.

摘要： Current legislation requires the possibility of encryption when storing television programmes received by broadcast. However, legacy playback apparatuses will not be able to play back such encrypted data in a regular way, but possibly in a wrong way. This may result in problems like damage of speakers. Therefore, the application intends to hide any of such possibly damaging streams by intentionally providing such streams with a wrong identification during the encryption process. The application provides among others a method and circuit for encryption and a method and circuit for decryption. The application is especially suitable for DVD recorders, but may also be employed for other video and/or audio recorders. The invention may even be used for encrypting non-audiovisual data.

The device has various trick play modes for rendering the information at a different speeds based on speed pointers. A limited amount of speed pointers is included in the information stream. The device has a calculation unit 32 for calculating further speed pointers based on estimating the playback time of the units by retrieving cell playback information (C-PBIT) that includes the addresses of the first unit and the last unit within the cell and a cell playback time, retrieving a unit address map (VTS-VOBU-ADMAP) that includes the addresses of the units, determining a number of units within the cell by determining a position of said first and last unit in the unit address map, and dividing the cell playback time by the number of units.

The record carrier (2) further stores a carrier region code (RCC) indicating in which region content shall be allowed to be reproduced and an encrypted region key (RK) for decrypting content, in order to make it more difficult to hack a reproducing apparatus (1) for it to play record carriers having a wrong region code. The reproducing apparatus (1) has a region code storage (10) for storing a device region code (RCD), and a device key storage (11) for storing a device key (DK), which device key (DK) is different for all regions. The reproducing apparatus (1) reads a carrier region code (RCC) from the record carrier (2), checks if the carrier region code (RCC) matches the device region code (RCD), reads the encrypted region key (RK) from the record carrier (2), decrypts the encrypted region key (RK) using said device key (DK) in case the carrier region code (RCC) matches the device region code (RCD), reads the encrypted content from the record carrier (2), decrypts the encrypted content using the decrypted region key (RCD) and outputs the decrypted content.
