The inner ribs 15 provide inner recessed pathways 16 which extend from the distal edge 12 toward the proximal edge 11. The centralizer 10 also may include a plurality of outer raised ribs 17. The inner and outer ribs 15 and 17 space the centralizer 10 from the implant 1 and the bone 5. This allows bone cement to flow into the gaps created between centralizer and the implant and between the centralizer and the bone.

摘要： This invention increases the flow of breathable air from an air pump to an enclosure such as a hood or enclosed structure without requiring an increase in the air pump output. The invention involves interposing an jet venturi induction pump in the conduit between the air pump and the enclosure. Breathable filtered, muffled, and metered ambient air is induced into the jet venturi induction pump, thereby increasing the flow of breathable air into the enclosure without an increase in the air pump output. In addition, the jet venturi induction pump cools and reduces the humidity of the air emitted from the air pump.

摘要： A novel and soluble polypeptide that is highly conserved among vertebrates has been discovered, which is designated "noggin." The properties of noggin include dorsal growth inducing activity. Noggin and activin act synergistically to produce dorsal mesoderm. Noggin's cDNA has been cloned. Several expression systems have been successfully used to express biologically active noggin. 摘要： An spray gun extension used in the application of liquids such as paints and other coatings, cleaning solutions, solvents, blasting agents, solvents, sealants, lubricants and pesticides in high volume low pressure spraying. The extension allow the application of such liquids to areas above, below, around, behind, or into devices or fixtures not visible and otherwise inaccessible to the applicator. The extension is rotatively mounted to the spray gun. A spray head is rotatively mounted on the extension. A variety of spray nozzles may be used, including a fixed nozzle, and a nozzle which may be used to vary the spray pattern width and fan shape. Liquid flow is controlled by a needle valve near the end of the extension. The extension may be used to spray straight ahead or at any angle including back toward the spray gun.

摘要： Electrostatic discharge properties of materials are quantitatively measured and ranked. Samples (20) are rotated on a turntable (15) beneath selectable, co-available electrostatic chargers (30/40), one being a corona charging element (30) and the other a sample-engaging triboelectric charging element (40). They then pass under a voltage meter (25) to measure the amount of residual charge on the samples (20). After charging is discontinued, measurements are continued to record the charge decay history over time.
