摘要： A monolithic body (31) has a compound optical surface that defines a centrally located lens element (31B) that is transmissive to light having wavelengths of interest, such as infrared radiation (IR), and a reflector (31B) disposed about the lens element that is reflective to the light. The monolithic body is comprised of a material selected for fabricating a refractive lens element. The compound optical surface has a centrally located portion defining the lens element surrounded by a generally curved surface region having a reflective coating that defines the reflector. The centrally located portion may be coated with an anti-reflection coating. The compound optical surface is preferably formed in one operation, such as one that uses a diamond point turning operation.

摘要： A wide-angle IR imaging system (1A) has an entrance aperture (40) for admitting IR from a scene and a dewar (4A) that contains a coldshield (3) that encloses a cooled IR detector (2) disposed at an image plane (2A). The dewar includes a dewar window (4), and an optical axis of the IR imaging system passes through the dewar window and the image plane. The IR imaging system further includes a plurality of uncooled optical elements (22, 24, 26, 28) disposed along the optical axis between the entrance aperture and the dewar window, and a plurality of generally annular reflector segments (18A, 18B) disposed around the optical axis between the dewar window and the entrance aperture. Each of the reflector segments has a reflective surface that faces the dewar window. An opening through an outermost reflector segment furthest from the dewar window defines an effective cooled aperture stop, or warm stop (20A) of the IR imaging system, and at least one of the optical elements (22) is disposed between the effective cooled aperture stop and another one of the reflector segments (18A) that is located nearer to the dewar window. In the preferred embodiment the at least one optical element, and the reflector segment that is located nearer to the dewar window, are comprised of a single monolithic body (31) that has a compound optical surface.

摘要： An adapter for mounting an icemaker on top of an ice bin of an ice and beverage dispenser has a lid mounted for both sliding movement and pivotal movement relative to the remainder of the adapter. The lid normally covers an inlet to the ice bin. To expose the ice bin inlet for visually inspection of the interior of the bin and/or to accommodate manual filling of the bin with ice, the lid is manually slid forward off of and then be rotated away from the bin inlet to fully expose the inlet. The lid at all times remains connected to the adapter so that it is not lost or exposed to unsanitary conditions.

摘要： A product storage and handling system for a beverage dispenser is characterized by a cabinet in which a plurality of bins are removably supported on one or more shelves that may be slid into and out of the cabinet. Each bin is for containing a removable container of liquid beverage component, a fluid valve of which container extends downward through and is releasably secured against vertical movement in a lower opening in the bin. A connector coupled to a fluid line leading to a beverage valve of a beverage dispenser is arranged to be conveniently fluid coupled with and decoupled from the fluid valve of the bag. When a shelf of slid out of the cabinet, the bins supported by it may, if desired, be lifted off of and replaced on the shelf for during replacement of a depleted bag of liquid beverage component. Alternatively, the bins may remain supported on the shelf during replacement of a depleted bag of liquid beverage component.

摘要： Programming a plurality of states having respective threads is achieved by an event engine and a computer controlled GUI causing the event engine to monitor a signal and execute an action based thereon. The GUI programs an event and several states and causes the event engine to traverse between the states upon reaching the event. The GUI further programs a logic chain which unifies the threads. A method unifies several threads by selecting and executing a logic operation. The method further configures several states and causes traversing between them. The GUI may be deployed co-functionally with debuggers, logic analyzers, scopes, utilities, and software development tools. The results of the GUI are automatically transformed into program code which programs the event engine to operate during debug of a device under test by monitoring for events and taking action based thereon.

摘要： A BiCMOS auxiliary output driver is provided to maintain output logic signal levels when integrated circuit chip power supply voltage is outside its nominal range. When the power supply voltage level is within design tolerance for a MOSFET output driver stage, the auxiliary output driver is off; when below design tolerance, the auxiliary output driver is turned on. Driver stage output pad signal level is maintained at a desired state level by the auxiliary output driver whenever the power supply slips below its design tolerance range.

摘要： A foul line indicator for pool tables for identifying the foul line behind which a player is allowed to shoot a cue ball. The foul line indicator for pool tables includes a laser light mechanism which includes housing and a conventional laser light disposed therein. The laser light mechanism is disposed under a side rail and in a side wall under the second diamond displayed on top of the side rail and located from either end of the pool table. The laser light is adapted to direct a light beam across the playing surface of the pool table from one side to the other side to indicate the foul line. The laser light is energized by a switch disposed in the side wall of the pool table and which is connected to the laser light mechanism with wires, and also by a power source.
