    摘要： A camera system has a camera section, a reproduction section and a printer section, the printer section being separably attachable to either the camera section or the reproduction section to form an integral body. The camera system has photoelectric conversion elements and picks up an image of an object to produce image data. The reproduction section processes the image data so as to reproduce the picked-up image on a display screen, and the printer section prints the picked-up image on printing paper based on the image data. The reproduction section may include an output device which transmits the processed image data to a television set having a display screen, and it may also be integrally provided with a monitor having a display screen. The camera system further includes a recording portion electrically connected with the camera section and which records the image data. The recording portion has a first recorder which records the image data in an internal memory built in one or each of the camera section, the reproduction section and the printer section, and a second recorder which records the image data in an external memory removably mountable on one or each of the camera section, the reproduction section and the printer section.

    摘要： A still video camera which eliminates possible erroneous erasure of a picture image recorded in an internal memory of the camera. The camera has an image pickup apparatus and a recorder for recording a picture image signal obtained by the image pickup apparatus into a record medium which may be an internal memory or a removable IC card. Further, the camera has a manually operable switch and a protect signal recording apparatus operable in response to the operation of the manually operable switch for recording a protect signal into the record medium. The protect signal will inhibit the erasure of a picture image signal recorded in the record medium. The camera also has a controller for inhibiting erasure of a picture image signal at a portion of the record medium corresponding to the protect signal.

    摘要： An imaging apparatus of an electronic camera according to the present invention has a lens barrier arranged on an object side of a photographing lens; an imaging device capable of changing electric charge storage time; a lens barrier state-detecting means for outputting a signal indicating an opening state of the lens barrier after detecting the opening state of the lens barrier; a release switch for starting a photographing operation; an imaging device control means for starting electric charge storage of the device when the signal of the opening state of the lens barrier is outputted from the detecting means and for outputting a charge termination signal when the charge is terminated; and a lens barrier opening and closing driving means for driving the lens barrier to open on the basis of a turning-on signal of the release switch and for driving the lens barrier to close on the basis of the charge termination signal outputted from the control means. In this apparatus, by driving the driving means, the lens barrier is opened only during a photographing period, while the lens barrier is closed during a non-photographing period to prevent the device from being exposed to strong outside light.
