摘要： Processes and systems for thermoforming articles of wear are disclosed. The process can include utilizing a negative pressure generation system to seal an article in a forming material thereby compressing the forming material onto the outer surface of the article. The process can also include exposing the sealed article to an increased temperature followed by exposure to a decrease temperature, while maintaining the compressive force of the forming material on the outer surface of the article. A positive pressure can also be applied to the sealed article while undergoing the heating and/or cooling steps, which can facilitate the removal of bubbles from the article during thermoforming as well as apply additional compressive force to the outer surface of the article.

摘要： The method according to the present invention and the device (1) used to implement the method for wrapping or enveloping a galosh which is also named as an overshoe, around a footwear, have been developed in order to avoid the bacteria, microbes, dust, mud and other dirt particles that may be found on the soles of the footwear, from being carried into and the areas with hygienic requirements. With the device (1), the sole and the side walls (side vamps) of the footwear are wrapped with a film (21) by a method, wherein warm air is blown at a suitable flow rate towards the sole and side vamps of the footwear, which causes the film (21) to shrink and cover the solve and side vamps of the footwear by wrapping them up when it comes into contact with the film.

摘要： Flocking fibers are applied to the outsole of a shoe by placing the fibers in a chamber within a housing and placing the outsole over an opening in the housing after applying an adhesive to a surface of the outsole which is to receive the flocking. A pressurized gas jet is activated to increase the pressure in the housing thereby causing the fibers to exit the chamber and collide with the adhesive surface of the outsole. The outsoles may be supported on screens within openings in a tray which is removably mountable on the housing over the opening therein.
