摘要: A method of depositing material on an electronic substrate with a dispensing system includes acquiring an image of a first feature of a first component and an adjacent second feature of a second component, performing a measure command to measure an actual distance of a gap between the first feature of the first component and the second feature of the second component, dividing the length of the gap into segments to determine a gap width for each segment, based on the gap width, determining a number of dots to be dispensed by the dispensing unit for each segment, and performing the dispense operation for each segment.

摘要: An atomizing spray nozzle device includes an atomizing zone housing that receives different phases of materials used to form a coating. The atomizing zone housing mixes the different phases of the materials into a two-phase mixture of ceramic-liquid droplets in a carrier gas. The device also includes a plenum housing fluidly coupled with the atomizing housing and extending from the atomizing housing to a delivery end. The plenum housing includes an interior plenum that receives the two-phase mixture of ceramic-liquid droplets in the carrier gas from the atomizing zone housing. The device also includes one or more delivery nozzles fluidly coupled with the plenum chamber. The delivery nozzles provide outlets from which the two-phase mixture of ceramic-liquid droplets in the carrier gas is delivered onto one or more surfaces of a target object as the coating on the target object.

The coating composition includes monomeric, oligomeric, or polymeric compounds having a number average molecular weight of from about 400 to about 20,000 and having a free-radically polymerizable double bond. The coating composition further includes a photo initiator. The coating composition has an Ohnesorge number (Oh) of from about 0.01 to about 12.6. The coating composition has a Reynolds number (Re) of from about 0.02 to about 6,200. The coating composition has a Deborah number (De) of from greater than 0 to about 1730.

摘要: One embodiment of the invention provides an apparatus for dispensing conductive paste on photovoltaic structures during manufacturing of a solar panel. The apparatus includes a cartridge for holding the conductive paste, a jet-dispensing module coupled to the cartridge, and a robotic arm coupled to the jet-dispensing module. The jet-dispensing module is configured to dispense a predetermined amount of the conductive paste on busbars of a respective photovoltaic structure in a non-contact manner, and the robotic arm is configured to adjust a position of the jet-dispensing module, thereby facilitating alignments between the jet-dispensing module and the busbars of the photovoltaic structure.

摘要: An improved pneumatic jetting valve includes a housing with first and second chambers. A pneumatic piston is enclosed between the chambers. First and second solenoid valves are configured to respectively supply air pressure to the chambers and to exhaust the chambers. A controller is operable to regulate the pressurization and venting of the chambers. The controller controls the timing of control signals for the first and second solenoid valves to control the overlap time during which both the first and second chambers are pressurized. By controlling this overlap time, the controller controls the speed of the drive pin of the jetting valve and thereby the speed at which the valve closes to jet a droplet of material. This allows a valve speed to be selected that is most appropriate for the viscosity of the material being jetted. Numerous new methods for utilizing the improved jetting valve and system are disclosed.

An apparatus for carrying out the method is also provided.

摘要: The invention relates to an apparatus for the coating of a substrate, in particular of a circuit board, with a material application device for applying a coating material and with a gas supplying device for the supply of a gaseous medium, the material application device having an inner tubular element, the gas supply device having an outer tubular element which is arranged coaxially to the inner tubular element and surrounds the latter, so as to form between the outer and the inner tubular element a gas supply duct which has an annular orifice at one end, the supply duct being configured so that the gaseous medium flows out, parallel to the coating material, through the annular orifice, in order, when it impinges on the substrate, to displace the applied coating material and thereby distribute it over the area. The apparatus is distinguished in that the material application device has a jet valve which, in a first operating mode, carries out a jetted supply of material into the inner tubular element.
