    摘要: An ultrasonic sensor includes an ultrasonic transducer; a first voltage output circuit to output a transmission voltage signal that oscillates between a first high voltage and a first low voltage, supplied to a first terminal of the ultrasonic transducer; a reception circuit to detect a voltage signal generated at a second terminal of the ultrasonic transducer; and the second voltage output circuit to output a second high voltage smaller than the first high voltage. The first voltage output circuit includes a first switching unit to perform switching between supplying the transmission voltage signal in ultrasonic transmission; and fixing a potential of the first terminal in ultrasonic reception. The second voltage output circuit includes a second switching unit that performs switching between supplying the second high voltage to the second terminal in ultrasonic transmission; and electrically separating the second voltage output circuit from the second terminal in ultrasonic reception.

    摘要: An acoustic element integrated circuit includes cells, being arrayed two-dimensionally on a same curved surface, wherein capacitive acoustic-elements having vibration membranes are allocated by unit number in each of the cells. Each of the cells encompasses an intra-cell circuit, which includes an exciting circuit for driving collectively portions by the unit number, the portions having transmitting functions of the acoustic-elements, and a reception circuit for processing collectively received signals transferred from portions by the unit number, the portions having reception functions in the acoustic-elements. Here, the exciting circuits are sorted into a chip in which high-voltage drivers for exciting the vibration membranes are merged and a chip in which circuits operated at voltages lower than the high-voltage drivers are merged, and the cells are operated two-dimensionally, by individually controlling the intra-cell circuits so that cells can be driven independently.

    摘要: An ultrasonic transducer that can include a driver side and a bias voltage side. A higher voltage source can be electrically connected to the bias voltage side through a first resistor. A lower voltage source can be electrically connected to the driver side of through a second resistor. A field effect transistor or other suitable switch can be included, having a source, a gate and a drain. The source can be electrically connected to ground and the gate can be electrically connected to a control signal source. The drain can be electrically connected to the lower voltage source through a second resistor and be electrically connected to the driver side of the ultrasonic transducer. The gate can be electrically connected to a signal source through a third resistor.

    摘要: A signal generator generates an electrical signal that is sent to an amplifier, which increases the power of the signal using power from a power source. The amplified signal is fed to a sender transducer to generate ultrasonic waves that can be focused and sent to a receiver. The receiver transducer converts the ultrasonic waves back into electrical energy and stores it in an energy storage device, such as a battery, or uses the electrical energy to power a device. In this way, a device can be remotely charged or powered without having to be tethered to an electrical outlet.

The electromechanical transducer has a plurality of cells, each of which has a vibrating film including two electrodes provided with a gap therebetween, two driving and detecting units, a potential difference setter, and a switch. Each of the driving and detecting units implements a transmitting and/or a receiving function. A first or second element includes first or second electrodes which are electrically connected and further connected to the common first or second driving and detecting unit, respectively. The potential difference setter sets a predetermined potential difference between the reference potentials of the first and second driving and detecting units, respectively, and the switch switches between the first and second driving and detecting units to perform the transmitting and receiving operation.

    摘要: The invention provides a portable ultrasonic imaging probe directly connectable to an off-the-shelf laptop computer. The probe produces raw digitized data comprising envelope detected ultrasound echo data from an array of ultrasound transducers, and transmits the data to the host computer thereby enabling the host computer to form real-time ultrasonic images of human tissue without the need for any additional electronics. In particular embodiments, the probe includes a plurality of transmit switches configured to connect a transmitting group of the ultrasound transducers to a pulser; a plurality of receive switches configured to connect a receiving group of the ultrasound transducers to analog summing, amplification and signal processing circuitry; and a transmit/receive controller which selects which of said ultrasound transducers are in the transmitting group and which of said ultrasound transducers are in the receiving group. The ultrasound transducers may be conventional or micromachined ultrasound transducers.
