    摘要: A security checkpoint system is provided. The security checkpoint system includes an automated robotic vehicle including a chassis having a bin secured thereto. The security checkpoint system further includes an identification system to associate an individual that has placed an object into the bin with the automated robotic vehicle. The security checkpoint system further includes a scanner to scan the object in the automated robotic vehicle as the automated robotic vehicles passes therethrough. The security checkpoint system further includes a computing device including a processing unit to cause the automated robotic vehicle to navigate to a location of the individual after the automated robotic vehicle has passed through the scanner.

    摘要: An apparatus for handling electronic components such as hard disk drives. In one aspect, the apparatus includes a main body defining an interior space with an open front; a drive system that propels and positions the apparatus along horizontal surface; a fan system mounted within the interior space and positioned to blow air down into the interior space; a first gripper apparatus that engages an equipment drawer of an electronics rack; and a second gripper apparatus that grips and removes a target electronic component from a target position located within the equipment drawer, wherein at least a back surface of the main body includes perforations so that sufficient air flow generated by the fan system flows through the perforations to maintain cooling of electronic components in the equipment drawer when the equipment drawer is in the extracted position.

    摘要: A kiosk service robot may include a base unit, a superstructure, and a first display. The base unit may include two drive wheels disposed on a first side of the base unit, each being independently drivable. The two drive wheels may be arranged such that the two drive wheels have a track between 14″ and 18″. The base unit may also include a plurality of casters disposed on the first side of the base unit. The plurality of casters may be arranged such that each caster of the plurality of casters are radially offset from a track center of the plurality of casters by a distance between 7″ and 9″. The base unit may further include a housing sized so as to be circumscribed by a cylindrical reference volume having a diameter of between 16″ and 24″ and configured to provide an exterior surface of the base unit.
