A manufacturing apparatus of a rubber member includes an extruder that kneads and feeds a rubber material; a mouthpiece that discharges the rubber material supplied from the extruder; a support member that has a support surface opposing the mouthpiece; a rubber collection chamber that is formed between the mouthpiece and the support surface, that collects the rubber material discharged from the mouthpiece, and that has an opening in a front movement direction of the support surface with respect to the mouthpiece; and a shutter that opens and closes the opening. A plate-like rubber member is molded using the rubber material discharged from the mouthpiece onto the support surface by relatively moving the support surface and the mouthpiece.

An apparatus of the present invention is a continuous extrusion forming apparatus comprising: a screw which carries a forming raw material in the horizontal direction, the screw being built in the screw part; and a mouth piece structure for extrusion forming, which is provided on the downstream side of a screw part, wherein the mouth piece structure has a horizontal channel for extruding the forming raw material flowing in from the screw part in the horizontal direction, an extrusion channel orthogonal to the horizontal channel, and an extrusion port provided at a tip end of the extrusion channel, and wherein a mouth piece structure holder which holds the mouth piece structure is provided with a turning means which freely changes the opening direction of the extrusion port between the horizontal direction and a floor facing direction.

A layer sequence repeater module for a co-extrusion die includes a cell formed of a plurality of thin annular disks stacked on top of each other in an axial direction of the co-extrusion die. Each disk includes a plurality of openings aligned with openings in the adjacent disks, thus forming multiple inner and outer melt passages. At least one of the layer sequence repeater module includes at least one first cap disk, at least one second cap disk, at least one distribution disk, at least one repeater disk and at least one spreader disk. The layer sequence repeater module may be a separately assembled and individually removable module of the co-extrusion die. Alternatively or additionally, the layer sequence repeater module may be incorporated into a module of the co-extrusion die.

A wire harness manufacturing method prevents inadvertent deformation of thermoplastic material and separation of thermoplastic material. A predetermined part of an electric wire 91 is accommodated in a through hole of a tubular body formed by connection between a first and second nest members (123, 124) of a nozzle (12), by integrally connecting first and second case body members (121, 122) of the nozzle (12), with the predetermined part of the electric wire 91 therebetween. An approximately tubular covering member (92) covering the predetermined part of the electric wire (91) is molded integrally with the thermoplastic material, by discharging thermoplastic material plasticized by a material plasticizing unit (11) from thermoplastic material discharge orifices (1213) and (1223) in the nozzle (12) to the outer periphery of the electric wire (91), while moving the electric wire (91) and the nozzle (12) relatively to each other.

Methods and apparatus for coating substrates. A die can be employed for extrusion coating an elongated substrate, where the die defines a coating cavity therein. The die can comprise a die block having a coating supply channel for supplying a coating material to the coating cavity. The die can further comprise a guide plug and a die plate removably coupled to the die block. The guide plug can comprise a substrate inlet having a non-circular lateral cross-section, and the die plate can comprise a substrate outlet also having a non-circular lateral cross-section. A coating system comprising such a die can operate to coat a substrate where the substrate can be pushed at least partially through the die and contacts the coating material therein.

The invention relates to a calibrating plate for an extrusion die for producing plastic profiles, comprising a substantially plate-shaped basic body (21), in which an opening (22) for guiding and calibrating the plastic profile (23) to be produced is provided, with at least one insert part (1) made of a material with high hardness being inserted into the basic body (21), which insert part comprises at least one holding section (2) and a shaping section (3), with both the holding section (2) as well as the shaping section (3) being formed partly as cylindrical surfaces with generatrices parallel to the extrusion axis (6), and with the insert part (1) being held in the axial direction in the plate-shaped basic body (21) by a delimiting stop (5). A longer service life and a simpler adjustment can be achieved in such a way that the holding section (2) comprises a groove (4) which extends in the direction of extrusion (6a), and that the delimitation stop (5) is arranged at one end of the groove (4), which stop protrudes from the groove (4).

A pipe molding apparatus includes a plurality of mold blocks (9) which move along a molding path to form double wall plastic pipe having an outer pipe wall with corrugations which set outside diameter of the pipe and an inner wall around a bore through the pipe. The mold blocks (9) have profiled faces which determine shape of the pipe. The profiled faces are reconfigureable in profile between first depth of the corrugations and diameter of the bore through the pipe without varying external diameter and while maintaining essentially constant wall thickness of the pipe.

In a main mouth installed between a pressing unit of a brick molding machine and a mold in an assembled structure, the main mouth of a brick molding machine comprises a bolt insertion hole that passes through two opposing sides among upper and lower sides and left and right sides between inlet and outlet parts of a mouth body; a resistance member that includes an attaching surface attached to an inner surface of the mouth body having the bolt insertion hole therein, and a resistance surface protruded in a direction of an inner surface of the mouth body; a nut member embedded in the attaching surface of the resistance member with a part of the same being exposed; and an engaging bolt that is inserted from an outer side of the mouth body through the bolt insertion hole and thread-engaged with the nut member embedded in the resistance member for thereby fixing the resistance member to an inner surface of the mouth body.

The present invention comprises an improved extruder die assembly and method for using same to improve the quality of dimensional design aspects of extruded, complexly shaped, direct expanded food products. The improved system includes an improved extruder die assembly comprising a transition insert section, a plurality of spacer insert elements, an imprinting insert element, and a forming insert element, all of which are coaxially aligned and interlocking. The improved extruder die assembly of the present invention is designed for adaptation to a wide variety of commercial-grade extrusion devices (e.g., twin screw, single screw, forming extruders, and pasta extruders) common in the food industry.
