Abstract: The bead portion of the pneumatic tire includes a bead structure having a bead core composed of a bead cord, and an annular plate which extends to the tire circumferential direction and is formed of a resin material. The annular plate has a planar first annular ring portion extending to the tire circumferential direction and a second annular ring portion positioned outside the tire radial direction of the first annular portion and extending to the tire circumferential direction, the first annular portion is provided along the bead structure, and the second annular portion is further inclined to the outside in tire width direction of the first annular portion.

Abstract: Each of at least two layers of a carcass reinforcement has a breaking force per unit width higher than 2250 daN/dm. Abstract: In a carcass (13), between first sections (13A) in which an inter-cord distance between a body portion and turn-back portions gradually decreases outward in a tire radial direction and second sections (13B) in which the inter-cord distance gradually increases, there are disposed first distance-invariant sections (13C) in which the turn-back portions (14B) are brought closer to the body portion (14A) that becomes a substantial bending neutral axis and in which the inter-cord distance is constant, so compressive force acting on the cords of the turn-back portions (14B) can be reduced. By disposing the first distance-invariant sections (13C) between the first sections (13A) and the second sections (13B), the direction of the cords of the turn-back portions (14B) is not suddenly changed, so it becomes difficult for stress to concentrate in the rubber between the cords of the turn-back portions (14B).

The following are defined in the wire array structure: a tangent line that contacts, from the side of a rim fitting face, an innermost layer in the tire radial direction and the wire cross-section on the innermost side and the outermost side in the tire lateral direction; contact points of the tangent line with respect to the wire cross-sections on the innermost side and the outermost side; a middle point of the contact points; and gauges in the tire radial direction from the contact points and middle point to the rim fitting face. In this case, the change rates of the gauges before and after rim assembly each are in the range of 10% to 60%.
