    摘要: A dynamic finishing device that is able to finish one side of a product independently of a second side of the product while the product is being woven is provided. The sides may be finished in a non-linear fashion by the dynamic finishing device. Additionally, one or more finishing devices can be dynamically positioned in an interior portion of the woven product as it is being woven. Once positioned, the finishing devices may create apertures, pockets, and/or tunnels in the woven product and finish the edges of these creations. Finishing in the interior portions of the woven product occurs in the direction of the warp and in the direction of the weft.

The different weaving materials comprise reactive materials or combined materials produced by an intermittent splicer. The different apparatuses include finishing devices for introducing organically-shaped lateral edges and interior apertures, and three-dimensional effectors for introducing three-dimensional aspects into a product as it is being woven. Weaving methods include simultaneously weaving fine denier panels and coarse denier panels.

    摘要: The shed formed by the warp threads in a loom is changeable by a shed drive that may either be an eccentric drive or a shaft drive. In order to rapidly exchange one shed drive (2) by another shed drive (3) these shed drives are mounted individually in a respective carriage (4). The carriage is constructed for docking in an exchange position next to the loom. An empty first carriage can take up a shed drive currently cooperating with the loom to remove the shed drive from the loom. A second carriage carrying another shed drive can then dock in the exchange position after the second carriage has been removed. The carriage is positionable either manually or automatically in response to distance signals.

    摘要: A pair of parallel rollers disposed in a path of advance of leno waste exiting from a leno weave portion of a weaving machine are provided with facilities for maintaining their peripheries free of the leno waste as such waste advances through the roller nip. Each of the rollers is made hollow, and is provided with a plurality of peripheral apertures for continually ejecting pressurized air axially introduced into the hollow interior of the cylinder by a fitting in its end wall. Each of the so-apertured cylinders is disposed within a contoured housing which necks down in the leno waste-advancing direction from a relatively wide, convex central portion to relatively narrow inlet and outlet end portions through which the waste enters and exits from the roller nip. As a result, pressurized air emerging from the peripheral apertures of the rollers is directed radially outward through each of the narrow end ports of the housing to entrain the leno waste and to continuously clean the periphery of the cylinders.
