Abstract: A textile component may include a knitted component with a first knit layer, a second knit layer, and a pocket, where the pocket is located between the first knit layer and the second knit layer. A spacing element may be included, where the spacing element is located within the pocket. An embroidered element on an exterior surface of the first knit layer may be included, where the embroidered element extends through the first knit layer but does not extend through the second knit layer. The textile may also include a cushioning area that is elevated relative to a base portion of the knitted component. An emblem formed by the embroidered element is located within the cushioning area.

Abstract: This application provides a sewing method and structure for a duvet, and the sewing method includes the following steps: first, stacking base cloth, a plurality pieces of retractable cloth and a plurality pieces of connection cloth together in sequence to form a duvet unit; then aligning two duvet units, and sewing the connection cloth on the two duvet units together in a one-to-one correspondence; and finally sewing perimeters of two pieces of the base cloth together in a one-to-one correspondence to form a closed down space. A beneficial effect of this invention is that downs in the duvet cannot run out from the gaps.

Abstract: A reversible sequin pattern sheet includes a layer of fabric positionable substantially in a plane and a plurality of sequins each having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, the sequins being arranged in an array. Each sequin includes an aperture extending between the first and second surfaces, at least a portion of the first and second surfaces of the sequins having different indicia thereon. A thread extending through each aperture is secured to the fabric layer for securing the sequins to the fabric layer and for allowing each sequin to pivot with respect to the fabric layer between a first position and a second position. The indicia are selected such that when the array is in the first position a first message is conveyed, and when the array is in the second position a second message is conveyed.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to augmented reality, and more particularly to augmented reality systems and methods using textiles. In one embodiment, a processor-implemented textile-based augmented reality method is disclosed. The method may comprise capturing, via one or more hardware processors, a video frame including a depiction of an aperiodic marker included in an ornamental design of a textile fabric. Via the one or more hardware processors, the presence of the marker may be identified using one or more image-processing marker detection techniques. The identified marker may be associated with one or more audio-visual content files. Finally, data from the one or more audio-visual content files may be displayed as part of an augmented reality presentation.

Abstract: An embroidery decoration has an outer frame and a stitching plate. The stitching plate is detachably mounted in the outer frame. An outer periphery of the stitching plate abuts an inner periphery of the outer frame. The stitching plate has multiple through holes formed through the plate surfaces for needles and threads to directly pass through for stitching on the stitching plate. After stitching, the outer frame, the stitching plate and the thread on the stitching plate form the end product. The stitching plate is solid in a fixed shape, thereby eliminating the problem of loosening and facilitating convenience in stitching. The embroidery decoration is mainly composed of two components made by plastic injection molding, such that the manufacturing cost is reduced.

Abstract: Compliance control stitch patterns sewn or embroidered into biotextile or medical textile substrates impart reinforcing strength, and stretch resistance and control into such substrates. Compliance control stitch patterns may be customizable to particular patients, substrate implantation sites, particular degenerative or diseased conditions, or desired time frames. Substrates having compliance control stitch patterns sewn or embroidered into them may be used in tissue repair or tissue reconstruction applications.

Abstract: An article of footwear includes a sole and an upper at least partially formed of [a textile element. The textile element includes a yarn matrix having a plurality of interlocked strands oriented in predetermined directions. A structural element may be captured within the matrix at selected locations. In operation, the matrix is stitched onto a temporary substrate. The substrate is removed and the article coupled to a sole structure to form the article of footwear.

Abstract: Described is a method for using an embroidery machine or sewing machine to form shapes in, and extract shapes from, a sheet of material. A needle-based machine uses its needle to generate a series of perforations to cut out or assist in the separation of the shapes. Stitching facilitates operation of the machine. Preferably, perforations are made with a computer-controlled machine using instructions generated from or available in an electronic file.
