Abstract:
In a spring body for a force transducer built into a force-transmitting part, a force-input section is provided for receiving a force, a force-output section for transmitting the force, and an elastic deformation body arranged therebetween which couples the force-output section to the force-input section such that the force received by the force-input section is transmitted to the force-output section. The elastic deformation body performs a predetermined elastic deformation movement caused by the force to be transmitted at at least one point. A coding sampling section is provided at the at least one point of the deformation body and which follows deformation movements of the at least one point.
Abstract:
A torsional sensing load cell, suitable for mounting at support locations of an automotive seat in order to determine weight and sitting position of an occupant of a motor vehicle. The load cell has the shape of a tuning fork, with one arm fixed to a foot attached to a chassis and a second parallel arm, not contacting the first arm, arranged to support a quadrant of a seat by means of a flange on the side of the second arm, causing torsion in the arm. A stop pin arrangement is provided in the load cell to prevent overloading the cell in a high force situation such as a collision.

Abstract:
The measuring journal according to the invention permits the construction of a measuring body which solves the troublefree transmission of a force between the structural elements, when measuring is carried out with the conversion of forces to electric signals, while in place of the shear- and bending stress, the mechanical stress is used for measuring-technical purpose. The measuring journal contains measuring elements connected to a central body and are developed as a longer and as a shorter measuring element. The torsional axes of the measuring elements are parallel with each other, are arranged symmetrically on both sides of the plane determined by the influence lines of the force bringing about the torsion and by those of the reaction force and are eccentric in relation to the geometrical axis of the measuring journal, while the plane determined by them is perpendicular to the plane determined by the reaction force and torsional force. The two ends of the measuring elements are linked through an arm of force to the connecting element that takes up the torsional force or reaction force, while the other ends of the measuring elements are in rigid connection with each other.

Abstract:
A method of determining a time-dependent gradient of a shock wave in a percussion or subjected to a percussion load ferromagnetic element and including subjecting the ferromagnetic element to action of a magnetic flux, providing a voltage measuring instrument associated with the ferromagnetic element for determining a change of a magnetic flux velocity, which is determined as a change in a measuring voltage, during a percussion action, and determining the gradient of the shock wave by additive superimposition of the measuring voltage; and a device for effecting the method.
Abstract:
A torsional sensing load cell comprises a load sensing member having first and second deflecting portions. Force-receiving areas are defined on upper and lower surfaces of the deflecting portions for bearing a load and its corresponding reactive force. This imposes a torque on the load sensing member which is detected by transducers positioned to detect torsional stress. The transducers are coupled in a bridge circuit and are placed such that the output signal of the circuit is insensitive to the location of an applied load.
Abstract:
Load limiter making it possible to set off an electric signal subsequent to a tensile stress exceeding a certain maximum value. It is based on the principle of rotation by axial stretching of a twisted part, the said rotation deplacing an armature of an electric contact switch.

A load measuring apparatus includes a waterproof load cell having a load measuring surface, of which the length is substantially equal to a diameter of the substrate, and a base plate that supports the waterproof load cell. The load measuring apparatus is set in a substrate cleaning apparatus like a substrate, and measures a load applied from the roll cleaning tool of the substrate cleaning apparatus using the waterproof load cell.
